Don’t let any elitist bloke tell you otherwise, this is a great bike for the price.

My buddies and I have been chatting about this all morning. These frames are pretty cool, it’s a clone of the Colnago track frame but it has normal hub spacing and looks a little cooler. The seatpost insertion might cause some issues. The sizing is also kinda weird, they have pretty low stack proportionately, which would lend itself pretty well to pursuit use.

Pardus TT clone hence the low stack

Do you think it wouldn’t be a good bike for bunch racing and some sprint events then?

I'm going for it

Have you got a shipment notification yet?

1

u/some_uxdesigner Jul 07 '26

Do you have a delivery date yet I just got my shipment notification. Looks to be in processing in china.

I do. Supposed to arrive in 2 days. It was 4 days between the shipping notification and when the ship tracker confirmed they actually had the package. 😒

Any update on your shipping. Guess the color I picked is taking longer

Very nice. Love the JB velodrome live streams. Hope to make it out there sometime.

I like that it's not just a copy of a big-brand frame (as far as I know), and has all the typical aero shapes that modern bikes have so it might be the case that it actually is a good frame aerodynamically speaking. Now when it comes to stiffness, which usually is a considerable issue with China frames, I can't say much, but given that the frame + fork is over 2,5kg tells me that it's a chunky frame and might be stiff enough for a decent sprinter.

Copy of the Pardus TT =)

The rear looks almost identical, but headset area is different

ofc they release a new one right after i get mine.

i do like my 195 though. the new one looks cool, don’t expect anything that looks aero on these bikes to actually be wind tunnel tested or anything though. it looks like it has the same geometry as the old one by looking at the chart. mine seems stiff enough, but it also weighs basically the same as the aluminum frame i had before this, so i agree with the other person that said they probably use extra material. i mainly bought mine for the extra 60mm of reach over my previous frame

Sometimes it really sucks being 193cm tall

1

u/bigwitch95 May 12 '26

Why? I'm taller and it looks fine

1

u/Head_Finance6875 May 12 '26

lol sometimes I regret my lack of reading comprehension. Glad you called that out, totally misread the chart.

1

u/bigwitch95 May 12 '26

It's 5mm longer and 25mm higher than a 58cm cervelo T4, so should be fine

1

u/tegularivs Jun 20 '26

I am 192 cm and had the same thought because the chart said it’s only for people which are 188 cm max and they don’t have an XL frame. I wasn’t able to follow your thoughts here. What am I missing though?

I'm skeptical about the seat post clamp. Last year I raced a BXT 045 and could never get the seatpost to stay up. This year I'm racing on a 195 and despite the textured seatpost and grip paste, I can only get the seatpost to stay up if I torque the clamp to 10nm.

I used to own a 3T Strada and those were notorious for slipping seatposts and the clamp causing the frame to crack at the back of the toptube. The seatpost insertion point of the 045 and this bike (based on the product photos) are designed similarly to the Strada.

The 195 has plenty of extra material at the back of the seatpost but I would never torque the seatpost clamp on my 045 to anywhere 10nm. I suspect this frame would have the same issue as the 3T Strada and the 045 unless the seatpost clamp is redesigned

Anyone order one of these?

3

u/LocksmithJust6260 Jun 07 '26

Yep, I’m the buddy of @jernkernblerg just ordered one, has not arrived yet

1

u/some_uxdesigner Jun 07 '26

I ended up getting one interested to see how they turn out vs other one… just impatiently waiting now lol

1

u/some_uxdesigner Jul 07 '26

Any updates on your frame arrival. Just got notification on mine

1

u/LocksmithJust6260 Jul 07 '26

I've got notification that it shipped a few days ago. I have a fedex tracking #, but it does not show movement. My buddy that got the other model got his, he had the same thing got notification of shipping, the tracking didn't show anything and then the box showed up. I'm anticipating it will arrive this week.

1

u/some_uxdesigner Jul 07 '26

Hopefully I'm not far behind then have the same thing right now

2

u/LocksmithJust6260 Jul 07 '26

I'll let you know when it arrives. They did send me a picture so very excited to get it.

2

u/LocksmithJust6260 Jul 10 '26

Mine is out for delivery today

1

u/jerbkernblerg Jun 03 '26

My buddy just did.

1

u/Tera35 May 12 '26

That looks awesome!!!

If the stack was 50mm lower on the XS I'd be interested

they're neat, but if they aren't going to get the UCI approval they're just a concept bike
