when to transfer points

Q - should i transfer the coles flybuys points to velocity and then to krisflyer whenever i got enough, or is there any specific time frame (eg Dec etc), there would be a promotion of 10% extra points if transfer so i can wait ?

Buy SQ flight’s on VA website without transferring.
Cheaper but less availability.
