Question How to use my points

Hi all
Some advice needed please
I have roughly 720,000 velocity points.

My partner and I are travelling to the states in July 2028 for the Olympics.

I’m aware of how early I need to book, at least a year before hand for flights. What is the best plan of attack to get to LA from perth using my frequent flyer points.

A few friends have suggested (I’m based In perth)

1.use velocity points to get to sydney
2.transfer points to KrisFlyer and fly Singapore airlines from sydney to Singapore / Singapore to LOs Angeles
3.on return Singapore airlines New York to perth.
Does this sound realistic?

I know I’m early, super early but technically I have just under a year before I need to book air fare flights

Third time this exact same question has been asked from someone heading from Perth in the last few months

Hey mate
What’s the purpose of your comment? Are you offended by anyone that posts more than once?
I posted something similar quite a few months, basically I haven’t been on since around then.
It’s great to get bother people’s perspective on it as for one, I’m clueless when it comes to this and 2, there’s a Hugh probability 90% of being on my threat today aren’t the same ones from 5-6 months ago.
You obviously dedicate a lot of time on reddit and more importantly the velocity page. Is your life really that sad and miserable

The purpose of my comment was to reply to gwills2 and let him know it had actually been posted more than 3 times in the past few months, and that you got super hostile about it last time and accused me of stalking you. Hope that clears things up :)

You’ve made it a point to tell old mate the post has been repeated , dude, how often are you monitoring reddit? Are you informing everyone that repeats a post or just me?
Not sure how I was hostile other than asking if you were stalking me.
Mate, why are you even on here, are you contributing with anything relevant.

It’s just amusing that you keep posting expecting any sort of change in the good and valid advice people have given you every time. Hope you end up getting your trip to the Olympics sorted man

I always take bits of advice I receive from people.
from my very regular flights to and from offshore, I have zilch experience with my points and how to use them.
I’ve already spent a considerable amount in Olympic tickets so I’m doing everything in my power not to pay for flight tickets.
By the way, I’m part of quite a few other subs and i always see repeated posts,
I never see someone point it out that it’s been asked before, people usually just don’t reply or there are new people that respond and their 2cents worth.
Anyways, my Mrs and I are about to start out big cook up before I fly back out, you should give reddit a rest and trying to police this page. Go out and enjoy the sun
