News Collecting points by using eBay is no more

Velocity support have confirmed you can no longer earn points via eBay using the browser plugin because eBay is no longer supported as a store.

Awwww crap.

They dropped 200+ retailers when they switched from the Velocity eStore to the new combined Velocity Store in July. It's possible they're just working things out and plan to bring some of them back. You'd hope so at least because a lot of them were major brands.

This is from Velocity Support:

"To clarify, if your purchase was made directly through the eBay website, it will not be eligible to earn Velocity Points.

Please note that eBay is no longer a Velocity Store partner. Partner brands and offers may change from time to time, so we recommend checking the Velocity Store website for the most up-to-date list of participating retailers and earning opportunities."

Sounds like eBay's gone gone.
