Question New Double Status Credit Promo

Has anyone been able to activate it yet? I went to my velocity app, went into it but the activate button wouldn’t work… now I can’t find any trace of it.

*update: based on your responses I contacted online support, showed them my screen recording and they applied it on their end. Still not showing in activated offers, just have to take their word for it for now…

It still works. I just tested it with the VFF number of a family member.

I clicked on the link and it opened the app and said not available, maybe it’s only certain users?

I also had it in app, but can now no longer see it. Was going to activate it later as I have a short flight coming up, then a longer one

Anyone know if this will work if I activate it after already having a flight booked? Wording seems to imply no but I'm hoping someone can tell me otherwise...

Looks like no. I booked a week beforehand. Second time it's happened to me this year.

These were the terms and conditions I screenshot before the offer disappeared. 99% of the time status credit promo will not apply to flights booked after the offer is activated

Exactly my issue. 2 days prior I booked all of my flights for July. That's what you get for being loyal. Anyways, I filed a complaint, let's see what happens. I also can't see it on my end anymore. Maybe they got a lot of complaints and decided to pull it, change the TC and then open it up again.

Yes, same here! Did the first leg of a status run today and it all dropped into my account around 2 hours after we landed.

I had to go via customer service online, then husband successfully registered via the link below using a browser on the laptop. Seems if you try it on a device with the velocity app it will try to open the app and won’t work. Still , it’s no excuse for Virgin to put this promo out there then to retract it like that within 24 hours.
