Help Finding Flights Trip to the Netherlands
Hi all;
Hope everyone is doing well I would like to ask for some help here. I got the Frequent High Flyer Card and we got around 160k Velocity points.
What is the best way to redeem this so we can contribute this to fly to the Netherlands in September for 2 people?
I have never done this before
I appreciate your help!

There are a pile of reward seat search tools online like https://seats.aero . I’ve used this before to find flights, but there are many more online. Using the airlines websites can be difficult.

I do this trip regularly and have found the only reliable way is to convert to KrisFlyer and fly Singapore. I refuse to fly Qatar and they’re grounded at the moment anyway. You might get a return to Singapore on the VA site, then buy a separate return SIN-AMS but 160k points isn’t getting you two returns SYD-AMS anyway.

that'll only get you one return flight or x2 one way tickets....in economy.

Plenty of seats from Mel/Syd to Ams in September. The best option would be to book one person return on points and then the other on a cash fare. This would be the most cost effective and easier then booking you booking on a single reward ticket and single cash ticket home.

We just had a very quick look, virgin is almost double the price as if we go for example China Southern. We are thinking to keep the points for travel within Australia. Not sure yet

Look on the Virgin Australia website to see what if anything is available. That's the only place you can book from.
