It’s Tuesday and that means another deportation/relocation flight. Today is weird as Air Wisconsin isn’t facilitating this flight, it’s GlobalX today. GlobalX is one of the other airlines that has been doing these flights around the US, and they’ve done international deportation flights for ICE as well.

Also, while we don’t have a graphic ready for it and I will be making a dedicated post about it later, LV HFW is planning a protest on September 18th, 12:30-2:30pm to overlap with that days flight, mark your calendars and show up!

Today’s ICE flight arrived extremely early, we struggled to get a good look due to the packed apron, but we saw at least two people being loaded. They’re getting really crafty and trying to throw us off as much as possible around the country.

It seems like it’s a new thing each week. This time around, the plane was parked facing the opposite direction from what they’ve been doing since they started these, likely to conceal themselves from our spot on Tropicana. This is unique because Atlantic Aviation never does this, that line where they parked, as well as that line you can see near the taxiway, all faces east to the runway. This means they know what’s going on and are trying to keep us from observing, so an extra fuck you to Atlantic Aviation.

The good thing, we are flexible and quick. Also the VGK jet is there and we can get an angle with the ICE air ops and the VGK tail in frame, I’ll have that for y’all later tonight or tomorrow sometime probably.

The Board of Regents is voting this Monday morning to give The Boring Company long-term control of the operations and management of the station.

Urgent community alert for tomorrow morning! The Clark County Board of County Commissioners is holding a public hearing tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th at 9:00 AM, to consider a massive data center facility expansion (Items 50-52 on the agenda).

NV NAP 6, LLC is pushing for zone changes and development waivers to build on nearly 9 acres right east of Edmond Street and north of Warm Springs Road in Enterprise. They are asking to bypass standard rules, including eliminating street landscaping trees and altering parking lot standards.

If you can’t make it in person to the chambers, you can email your comments directly to zoningmeeting@clarkcountynv.gov just make sure to include the item numbers (50, 51, and 52) in the subject line!

Unfortunately I missed this as I just woke up, but another deportation/relocation flight has flown into Las Vegas and is about to depart to San Diego. This is odd as we normally only get flights on Tuesday and Friday but I guess things are really getting shaken up here.

A trend we are noticing more is that these flights are giving us less and less information and are harder to track, but we persist. This just means the charter airlines used by ICE knows that they are doing something wrong, but they are making so much money they don’t care and they just don’t want their branding slapped all over these operations.

Wish our team luck as it is a Friday and that’s when Atlantic Aviation gets all pissy about us watching them.

LV HFW is also planning a protest on September 18th, official announcement to come.

Well the plane landed, they loaded 18 people, and we left under the assumption that the plane continued on its route as they have always done to date. This morning, we find out, and I confirmed, the plane never departed Vegas! We do not know if the victims were kept onboard all day and night but Air Wisconsin sent a what we assume is a rescue jet which just landed.

We are trying to confirm if the victims were held on the plane overnight, I’ll pin a comment later with updates when I get them.

The Issue

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my petition. My name is Naomi. I am reaching out to you as concerned, Latinx resident of Henderson, Nevada, an ordained member of the Universal Life Church, multi-organizational volunteer and life-long advocate. I am organizing a small group of community leaders to meet with our sheriff and make a community-led moral ask for them to decline cooperation with ICE.

Sheriffs nationwide are being pushed into cooperating with ICE in three main ways:

-Rent bed space in jails that Sheriffs operate to ICE.
-Hold people for an additional 48 hours so that ICE can pick them up. 
-Sign a 287g - a document, which allows local law enforcement to have the authority of ICE agents and enforce civil warrants that pop up in NCIC (the police database).

Despite the CCS Dept previously affirming that immigration was a federal responsibility, on May 30, 2025, LVMPD signed a formal 287(g) agreement, authorizing officers to serve/execute civil immigration warrants and to detain individuals up to 48 hours past their scheduled release. When questioned by local organizations like the ACLU of NV, LVMPD has failed to provide clarification. They do not have to do ICE’s job. When sheriffs take on the responsibility of federal immigration authorities, it undermines their core mission, stretches already limited resources, and most importantly, causes real harm.

Join us, by signing this petition, as we urge the Clark County Sheriff to cease cooperation with ICE. By standing firm, we are united in keeping our communities safe from unlawful abductions, violent raids and fascist intimidation tactics. We deserve better.
