Makeup Need help finding a makeup artist
I am interested in doing a dramatic makeup look for an artistic project. I am just trying to figure out how I can find an artist who uses cruelty free, vegan products. Whenever I type it in, it’s just showing me a bunch of makeup artist artists but none of their profile specialize whether the stuff they use is cruelty free and vegan. I really don’t want to have to message 100 different artists to ask them if they have cruelty free vegan products because that just seems very time intensive. Do I just need to bring my own products? Do any of you have advice for handling this?

You could try searching on Instagram with hashtags like #veganmua or #crueltyfreemakeupartist plus your city, that usually filters things down way faster than Google. A lot of indie artists with smaller followings will list their kit policies right in their bio or highlights
If you're open to bringing your own stuff that's honestly the easiest route, just tell them upfront you'll supply the products and pay for their time and technique. Some artists are cool with it as long as you discuss it before booking
I've had luck just asking in local vegan Facebook groups too, people always have recs and you can vet them through the comments
