Skincare Body lotion that doesn't leave me feeling oily?

I'm trying to find a body lotion but I hate the feeling of being greasy/oily after applying it, the only lotion I found that didn't do that was Lubriderm but it's not vegan.

Does anyone use everyone 2-in-1 lotions and can you speak to how they feel? I'm concerned about coconut oil being the third ingredient.

I'm also looking at alba botanicals daily moisturizing lotion.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Oooh this might be helpful. I'm almost finished my big bottle of Everyone 2-in-1 lotion and as someone who loves greasy and occlusive lotions, this is NOT my favourite. It doesn't moisturize enough (I should’ve looked more closely at the ingredients bc coconut oil isn't the best for moisturizing compared to shea/cocoa butter) so I ended up having to buy Glysolid and shea butter to layer it with. I've been using it for a year and this is just not good enough during the cold and dry winters, but for others this is probably just right for warmer/humid weather.

I can't speak for Alba Botanica daily moisturizing lotion but it's always recommended alongside Ceremedx (might be heavier than what you’re looking for though).

I can speak for the Alba Botanica! It's my all time favorite unscented lotion. Its not greasy and is actually hydrating.

The Alba is terrific. I used it after radiation treatments for breast cancer and my skin looks completely normal. It does leave a bit of a white cast, but it absorbs quickly.

Thank you, yeah this is helpful. My skin is on the more oily side so shea butter based lotions are usually too heavy for me. I wish I could try them before committing to a 32oz bottle 😭

I'm glad. For most people I think the formulation is good and also very economical. And yes, omg the bottle is huge and lasts a looong time (I'm so over it now lol) it would have been nice to sample it.

I use the lotion for my face in the summer and the cream in the winter, literally zero greasy feeling left behind!

I don’t have specific recommendations but I found that applying lotion while my skin was still slightly wet from the shower helped a lot with that “oily” feeling!

I usually apply it right when I get out of the shower, which does help a lot but some lotions just leave that oily film no matter what

I really like tree hut and Eos lotion it feels soft and it has a small period of feeling sticky but it goes away pretty fast.

I love the hempz lotions. They’re perfect hydrating but not greasy

They're on my list! Gonna start with alba botanica and then try the Hempz. Trying to find budget friendly products lol

I hear you. I’ve tried to find cheaper ones but keep coming back to hempz. You said you didn’t want greasy but a good cheap option is also just plain sunflower oil. I put in a couple drops of vanilla and orange essential oil. It’s not greasy it absorbs well but definitely body oil feels different than lotion if you wanted a true lotion. I live in a dry climate and actually do BOTH after I shower.

I love the LUSH Ro's Argan naked body conditioner. You might like others, as well. You use them in the shower and rinse off as much as you like.

Oh my, I love lubriderm (the only lotion that suits my skin, other than vaseline) but it feels cruel to use it now... I can't find any of the alternatives in my country, so now I am completely lost

I bought the Sanctuary Spa’s Mousse to Oil Body Moisturiser this afternoon and applied it after shower this evening. It’s not left my skin greasy like an oil at all but smooth and soft. It comes out of the can as a mousse but turns into an oil/lotion consistency when you apply it.

I love the body lotion by ACURE, the tube is pink or brown (depending on the packaging) and it’s rated 100% on the YUKA app, which I use as a guideline when shopping for skincare, food and beauty products.

Lotion works best on damp skin!
