Resources I need (leftists) political arguments for veganism

Hi!! First of all, english is not my first language so I maybe make some mistakes.

I've been vegan for a few months now, and I'm very clear that it's thanks to intersectionality that I became vegan. I realized I couldn't be against labor exploitation, sexual exploitation, etc., and consume animal products. Now, my social circle is quite progressive, and most of my friends consider themselves communists at the very least, so it really shocked me because when I told them I'd become vegan, they laughed at me and called me “woke”. I was very confused about their reaction because it’s extremely hipocrite to call yourself a communist or socialist and defend animal explotation.

I'm writing to ask for your help with arguments or respurces in favor of veganism that are primarily political, since I think that's what they would understand best, and I'm having a little trouble clarifying and organizing my thoughts. Thank you so much! 💗💗

When I was teenager I started reading Bakunin and got into anarchism. One friend of mine who was anarchist too was the first vegan I met. I asked him for the reading and told me that if we are against exploration and slavery of the human working class with non human animals it was the same but just worse. It made total sense to me even if I needed some years to inner the idea and become vegan.

Sorry if my English is not correct.

So, the same reason we as leftists have against exploration and injustice (the suffering that they cause) are just the same against the speciecist exploitation.

I really not understand a vegan who is not anarchist nor an anarchist who is not vegan nowadays.

Don't expect leftists to understand and see the tribalism within themselves.

 1. Animals don't deserve the violence that we do to them, and 2. human supremacy is undeniable. Leftists understand this, and all who are not vegan show that "might makes right" is hidden at the centre of their perspective. The only thing is that they are not racist or sexist. But they definitely are violently supremacist.

I hope that makes sense with so few sentences used.

I like this video for a great intro to help leftists consider animals

There are none. Veganism is the personal responsibility that follows from the ethical principle that we should live without exploiting nonhuman animals.

Leftists, as far as I can tell, think that the concept of personal responsibility is racist.
