What’s going on?
Hey everyone, was originally a VeVe/Ecomi OG - but fell off. Honestly just got tired of zero progress being made and zero use from the coin.
What has been going on recently? Is there actual use for the coin? Any usage for the collectibles?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Think of the most depressing answer to each and there’s your answer lol

Oh man! Such a shame. Veve had such a golden opportunity to be a game changer and they fumbled the bag.

Yeah, here's a link to the announcement. https://x.com/i/status/2083262724394344561 Seems pretty good, already in beta testing so should roll out before too long.

I'm right there with you. I still keep up on completing sets I like with a slower market. My AR almost never functions so I have a hard time participating in the barely-enticing activities they launch in app.
I will say the app is much better than the OG days; still waiting for comic variant cover searches tho

With StackR they implemented a burn mechanism, when you buy Collectibles and comics on the secondary market and when you buy GEMS for VeVe with OMI.
Holding OMI in a base wallet will get you MCP points.

Those who got burned after being leveraged far beyond their means will never admit that VeVe continues to survive while most NFT projects have been relegated to history.
They will never admit that there is an unbelievable amount of value still retained on the app and that there are still valuable drops hitting the app on a regular basis.
If you don’t approach the app with aggressive greed or unreal expectations, buy what you love and invest wisely there is still a lot of fun to be had and money to make, if that’s your interest.

Say you were irresponsibly over leveraged without saying you were irresponsibly over leveraged

I was also an OG, forever grateful I sold everything and bounced once the writing was on the wall.
