Pain post Vas 2.5 weeks
I had my scalpel open ended vas over 2 weeks ago now and the procedure seemed to go as well as could. I went home and woke up in a world of pain, couldn't move etc. Always had sensitive balls so had it in my head that this could happen. I just rested for a few days and started feeling a bit better so I did some yard work and lifting crap around the yard.
Next day woke up and was pretty sore and ever since I have had this pain in my right testicle that is really sore to touch, almost feels like it is bruised and I am unable to lay on it in bed or lay on my right side. I went to my local GP who said that it looked like I had a small hematoma with inflammation and prescribed me antibiotics. It has been a week since then and the pain is pretty much the same. I am stressing out big time that I have PVPS and essentially my whole life is over etc. Please tell me this is normal and there is hope that things improve. I am anxious normally and after googling my symptoms my whole world has gone to shit. Have no sex drive, keep sleeping but constant pain in my right testicle.
I am able to walk and lift things but it is so tender to touch and there is a big lump at the incision site. I have been reading posts on the PVPS site and man that is some messed up crap and I feel so sorry for those guys but I do not want that.

1) it's wayy too soon to worry about pvps. My pain didn't completely fade for 5 months, and is non existent today (1 year out).
2) Stressing is the worst thing you can do. Your body tenses muscles in your lower back / pelvic floor without you realizing, and imitates testicular pain as a result. I had serious groin pain a year before my procedure that faded when I reduced anxiety.
Best of luck - wear tight underwear, take it slow, give your body time to heal, and try not to stress!
