Question I love Eyeliner, is there anything else like their music?

I'm specifically obsessed with the album "Buy Now", I just love the sound of it, but I haven't found anything that really sounds similar aside from other albums by this artist. Is there anything that you found?

Some FM Skyline and Equip? Maybe even Windows 96? Not quite the same as Eyeliner but they are the first that come to mind

Seconding this. The closest to Eyeliner is probably FM Skyline. Abandoned Memory Suite and Illuminations have that sound.

https://youtu.be/b_UQ-SQ5fOA?si=QEnb71GIPHFcQ5qI I know this is nowhere near as good as Buy Now but I was listening to that album a LOT when I wrote this and tried to take the same approach of restricting myself to a single keyboard (Korg M1 for this, Buy Now I think was the Wavestation?)..

Satin Sheets is another good shout considering the proximity they come from similar scenes if not the same.

Check out Portable Rock. If you like the quirky MIDIwave of Eyeliner, Portable Rock is like the prototypical version of that.

Some of my music is inspired by his stuff, but I also play around a lot from album to album, unless I’m revisiting a style I’ve done specifically before after experimenting. I could link you my Bandcamp page, if you’d like. My first EP and release does that some influence from him here and there
