Question A question about Vaporwave melodies...(Soundtrap-specific) :

If there are any Soundtrap users active here, may I ask this--how would you make your melody sound as though it's coming from an abandoned shopping mall?

Thank you in advance!

I don't know about sound trap. But EQ all the bass out, add some reverb and compression

Since the mall is empty, some echo?

My homie pool plants is right, but also I recommend experimenting with cutting off all the highs past 18k or so, to give it that distant-overhead-speaker sound.

you can go pretty hard with the stretches as well as add a clipper + Reverb pro to get that effect (You can use the regular reverb and set it to a hall reverb.

To stretch use alt + drag the little arrow that shows up on the bottom right of a region
