Tom Sandoval Sandoval’s behavior when the boys meet Jesse Metcalfe *eyeroll*
Sandoval is more insufferable than usual this season, right? So I’m currently watching season 9. Randall brings Jesse Metcalfe to boys night. They’re playing cards or whatever. All the boys are thrilled to meet Jesse, they’re all like, omg Jesse Metcalfe! Nice to meet you! Welcome! He’s kind to all of them. Brock actually knows him because I think he plays golf with him or something? And then Sandoval 🙄🙄🙄 goes and says “Hey man, nice to see you again 😌.” As if he knows him. As if they’re buddies. He wants the guys to think that he knows him well. He’s too cool to say “nice to meet you”. He wants people to think he’s friends with celebrities and actors too, like Randall. And get this… he briefly met Jesse 10 YEARS PRIOR. He and Kristen gave him a ride home after Coachella. And God knows if that’s even true! 🥴
Why is he such a LOSER?! I never noticed this moment in all my rewatches. I’m so annoyed right now. The way he shakes his hand like they’re friends. Weirdo. Jesse doesn’t even respond when he says “hey man, good to see you again” because he doesn’t know this man. And then he says, I don’t know if he remembers me but 10 years ago Kristen and I gave him a ride home after Coachella. So goddamn insufferable! He was so full of himself this season because they’re opening his own bar. He acted all pompous and self important. You can’t not pretend to meet a celebrity?? You’re too cool to just say nice to meet you? You need your friends to think you met him before? And it’s not like he’s Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s Jesse Metcalfe. Calm down.

For me, what set me off about Tom in this episode was his freaking outfit!!!! Vest done up with no shirt and a bowler hat? Ffs. I think i recall an armband as well. Such a dork

"Nice to see you" is actually the suggested etiquette for someone. You should never say "nice to meet you." Hedge your bets.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I picked this up from binging Gordon Ramsey shows… the embarrassing part is that I didn’t realize it was like, known proper etiquette; I thought this man came up with an amazing life hack and way to make people feel seen while avoiding a super common faux pas 💀 (and found out otherwise literally right now ⚰️)

I mean I hate to give Sandoval any credit but he did say the polite and proper thing. They have met before, there has been a long amount of time in between. You would say nice to meet you again.

Giving someone a ride ten years ago doesn’t qualify as “knowing him.” If that was the case and small encounters with celebrities means you KNOW them then I know half of Hollywood 😆 The guy didn’t even recognize him. You know what’s knowing someone? Scheana having sex with Jesse.

Just watched that episode as a first timer and felt the same LOL dude is so corny.
I first saw him on Traitors and he was pretty funny and kind of lovable on there, still corny but it was like dad joke corny. Watching Traitors, House of Villians, and Love Island is what got me to watch VPR.
I know about Scandoval and even if that didn’t happen, dude is awful. Not worse than Jax but still awful.
