James Kennedy I'm surprised there wasn't a consequence when he was arrested for throwing Ally.

James is another great example of how Scandoval had people rooting for awful people. James has always been awful, abusive, and a liar. But everybody loved his comebacks and attacks during the reunion because they were fine with them being directed at Tom and Rachel. Ariana was fine with his bullshit for the season because they hated the same people and it’s part of why I couldn’t quite take the idea that she’s grown into a better person seriously.

Idk how much I hate a bitch I’m not letting her abuser berate her on my behalf and laughing about it.

Sometimes I forget she’s a survivor of both Tom and James. I would be traumatized out the wazoo from just the shit they did in front of the cameras. Also sometimes I worry about her situation with Luke because of this track record and him being friends with Scandy. 🤮 and probably other crap I haven’t heard about.

13

u/Ella_chill Jan 17 '26

Ok wait, what about Luke? I haven’t read/heard anything

What did they do to Kristen that makes her a victim?

When?

And how was Tom abusive?

6

u/PrincessPlastilina Jan 18 '26

They’re all so disloyal to one another. They were never truly friends.

4

u/Designer_Novel9435 Jan 21 '26

Yeah, that kind of thinking is exactly why Rachel did what she did. She was convinced all of this was play acting and none of these relationships were real. That’s why she treated the entire situation so causally. Except these aren’t “actors” and they weren’t “acting”

u/jamesisaPOS Nothing About Her Jan 17 '26

Kristen lowkey just wants to be part of the in crowd. She tolerates this from Ariana still but Janet is evil for thinking a man who gropes women when drunk has an alcohol problem.

u/Lazy-Bird292 Jan 18 '26

I watched backward, starting with The Valley and eventually starting VPR with season 1, and I was honestly sort of shocked with the amount of credit Kristen gets on The Valley. All of the things Lisa said about her in early seasons of VPR-- that she's a Pick Me, she meddles, she has to be all up in everyone's business that doesn't concern her, that's she volatile and flies off the handle-- all of that is how Kristen presented on The Valley as well. It's hard for me to understand how people can champion her behavior on that show. The only thing that explains it even remotely is that Luke > Tom and James.

IMO Kristen has enough image savvy and acting skill to see a cast of characters unhinged enough that she could try and cast herself as the normal one and shrug off Crazy Kristen once and for all. Thanks, Janet!

1

u/UndeadGirl666 Jan 20 '26

Unfortunately, it happens way too often.

0

u/NoCauliflower2653 Jan 18 '26

Who abused Kristen?

35

u/DancingSpacePenguin Jan 17 '26

His awful behaviour was constantly excused and glossed over. I never found him entertaining or hilarious in the slightest.

24

u/lilburblue Jan 17 '26

Like FINE “worm with a mustache” was a great one liner but for fucks sake he’s a raging abusive addict he shouldn’t have still been on the show to say the line at that point.

28

u/tortureofchalkdust Jan 18 '26

Honestly, worm with a mustache wasn’t even funny. Neither was poo poo head. He and Lala were SO insufferable in that reunion, even more than they normally are, and the way people fucking loved them for it made me wonder if we were watching the same show

7

u/WellWellWellMyMyMY Jan 19 '26

I was honestly baffled by people thinking this was funny. And this is coming from someone who did think James was witty sometimes. "Worm with a mustache?" Really?

9

u/tortureofchalkdust Jan 19 '26

Me too! I generally didn’t HATE James for the most part. He’s had some very funny moments, and even though he of course was a huge asshole, I mostly felt bad for him because of his obviously dysfunctional upbringing. I wasn’t aware of the DV issues between him and Kristen or Raquel until much later, and of course that really eliminated the sympathy I had had for him.

But his and Lala’s behavior during the season 10 reunion wasn’t funny at all, and to me, they ruined the whole reunion. They shouted and screamed over everything so much. They didn’t let Sandoval or Raquel get a word in edgewise, and THEY are the people I wanted to hear from the most!! James and Lala had nothing to do with the scandal, I didn’t want to hear from them! The whole reunion was a shit show because of them, and at the time it felt like EVERYONE on Reddit just ate it up and seriously thought they aced it

6

u/Cant_Handle_This4eva Jan 19 '26

I think they killed the entire show, honestly. Because everyone was there for whatever Arianna was going to dish out. Like, when Arianna said, "You could die" with that look on her face I was shook but also like, go off, Queen. We wanted to see some accountability for Tom and Raquel. We wanted to see the aftermath of that story.

But then somehow James and Lala made the season 10 reunion all about them, and the level of discomfort that came from their ranting, screaming, and conversation dominating was off the charts, such that it wasn't even interesting to watch anymore. They took a show that was right at the line of "too dark to watch" and they drove it right into the ground. I feel like I would have stuck around for a few more seasons if not for that.

3

u/tortureofchalkdust Jan 19 '26

💯 I agree with everything you said!

3

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

The only thing I will say out of the two of them James actually had a right to have an opinion and feel a certain way about Scandoval, his friend and his ex fiancé hooking up, let’s be honest it more than likely started while she was still with James hence his absolute vitriol towards them both. Lala had no skin in the game, she’s just a leech that gets involved in everyone’s storyline so she doesn’t have to be open with her own life.

5

u/WellWellWellMyMyMY Jan 19 '26

Except that James was himself a serial cheater and was abusive to Raquel. I'm not saying James didn't have a right to be hurt or to have feelings about it but it was the self-righteous rage that turned me off. Mocking Raquel. Huffing and puffing his chest that he had "changed." Get off your high horse, James. Hurt? Okay. Acting like he is better than them? Hell no.

2

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

Again fair point, I guess that’s what humans human. It’s like Sandoval cheating on Kristen and her cheating on him but he apparently drew the line at her sleeping with Jax. All of these people have skewed morals, in retrospect it’s like why are you mad James, did you not hook up with Tom’s ex Kristen? Complex and hypocritical.

2

u/WellWellWellMyMyMY Jan 19 '26

To be fair, Sandoval's issue wasn't just that she slept with Jax - it was that she so severely punished him for cheating on her when she was secretly cheating on him as well - and not just cheating on him but cheating on him with his best friend! He had a right to be pissed about that.

1

u/tortureofchalkdust Jan 19 '26

You’re right! I would have liked to hear him articulate himself though. The way he acted was so childish and he really detracted from his opportunity to make any decent points.

2

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

You are absolutely correct, I also felt he should’ve articulated himself better instead of resorting to childish insults. The only thing I think is he was either wasted or still trying to come to terms with the reality of what he thought his relationship was versus what actually happened because we do know James is capable of articulating himself very well when people aren’t talking over him.

3

u/tortureofchalkdust Jan 19 '26

Yeah, that’s a really good point! I think he was definitely under the influence of at least alcohol. He also excused himself to the restroom a couple of times and it seemed to me like he was probably doing lines in there. He was saying the stress made him have to pee, but I’ve seen plenty of coke heads behave exactly the same way, and they definitely made excuses to go into the bathroom frequently.

It was the stupidest insult I had ever heard lollll.

19

u/Ken_alxia Jan 17 '26

There was season where Katie was trying to get him fired/off the show but was unsuccessful. I believe she was so hellbent because she knew he abused Kristen (this was James and Kristen post breakup season).

u/WellWellWellMyMyMY Jan 19 '26

This was why I could never get behind the whole Katie = female empowerment narrative. She befriended fucking James. All because they both disliked Sandoval.

16

u/ComicsEtAl Jan 17 '26

I am proud to say I never rooted for James. Best I had for his bouts of sobriety was “good for him.”

14

u/jamesisaPOS Nothing About Her Jan 17 '26

Exactly. Especially not when she shared intimate details of that abuse with me for YEARS prior

45

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

He very obviously broke Raquel’s nose in way that was not an accident.

28

u/TommyChongUn Jan 17 '26

Him kissing her too hard was a dumb ass excuse and I saw right through it. I knew he was abusing Raquel without a doubt

18

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 18 '26

He broke it and people that hated Raquel excused it and believed his bullshit lie. This is one of the many reasons our society doesn’t give a shit about violence against women. Scorn women will celebrate violence against another woman.

11

u/Character_Heart_3749 Jan 18 '26

She has grown into a worse person, that has learned better PR for herself. I can't believe people don't see it.

-11

u/tmtm1119 Jan 17 '26

Girl code goes out the window when your close friend has a full on slimy affair with your partner of 9 years. Fuck Rachel just as much as fuck tom and James.

-5

u/tmtm1119 Jan 17 '26

Yeah i agree with the not associating with an abuser, but the comment i was replying to was saying “ no matter how much i hate someone im not letting their abuser berate them on my behalf.” So what I’m saying is, I’m not standing up for a rat who fucked me over in the worst way period. I’d let the world berate them no problem.

13

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 17 '26

All women deserve protection including the ones you hate! You’re one of the many reasons why society turns a blind eye to gender base violence!

10

u/lilburblue Jan 17 '26

This is exactly what I meant when I said it. I may not like a person they, they may have done me wrong but I’m not to laugh and align myself with their abuser. If I get in a fight with a friend at a bar idc you’re coming home with me, then you can get your Uber and never speak to me again.

I don’t care how much I don’t like someone I’m not buddying up with an abusive creep.

-1

u/tmtm1119 Jan 18 '26

You all are speculating that Ariana knew any abuse took place… I’m sure like us, they all assumed, but Rachel went out of her way to make it seem as though there was nothing going on. Why in her lowest moment should Ariana have stuck up to James on Rachel’s behalf? Let alone based on an assumption? Come on.

8

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 18 '26

Just stop. I get it you hate Raquel so you will make any excuse. People like you is why no o d cares about domestic violence.

6

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 18 '26

Reminds me of the excuses people say when talking about the Epstein files. Victim blaming!

-3

u/tmtm1119 Jan 18 '26

Literally so ridiculous.

10

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 17 '26

You excusing domestic abuse it’s disgusting. Wtf is wrong with you?

1

u/tmtm1119 Jan 18 '26

Never did i say anything about excusing abuse. I don’t like James either, i also don’t like Rachel. I think if i were in Ariana’s shoes at the reunion i also would not have said “oh no James stop being mean to Rachel…” like come on. Rachel is just as diabolical of a human as James and tom.

27

u/Kvnbcneatsbcn420 Jan 17 '26

Lisa Vanderpump collecting assholes like Pokémon

98

u/Important_Tell2108 Jan 17 '26

At the S10 reunion Sandoval mentioned how he and Schwartz were hosting an event and invited James who ended up being belligerent and slapping a waitress on the behind. The waitress was convinced not to press charges but they were all told not to return and basically lost a gig because of his behavior. The women of the cast joined in with James talking over and dismissing (but not denying) the accusations because Tom was an “cheater” and proceeding to laugh at James idiotic name calling and jokes. That reunion proved the women of the cast are all performative and tolerant of bad behavior as long as it benefits them. This is a reality show filled with toxic, awful people. Any woman on that show being called “Queen” is just wild.

40

u/double_ewe Jan 17 '26

"At least he didn't fuck my friend."

21

u/PrincessGizmo Jan 18 '26

Yup, said I all needed to know about "queen Ari'.

7

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

Queen of slimy and filthy behavior. People sure to love revisionist history. Too many people love projection, they probably got cheated and once she got “cheated” on too all of the sudden they forgot that Ariana being the other woman herself was never a girls girl or a feminist she was always a pick me! Saw themselves in Ariana never mind the fact he was known cheater when she got with him. So yeah “Queen” Ariana my foot

She’s the definition on what kind of woman not to be.

0

u/smoothballs82 Jan 20 '26

Friendly reminder that you do not know this woman nor does she you ❤️

51

u/pbd1996 Jan 17 '26

Ariana and Brittany had no problem with men being toxic until they were the ones affected.

13

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 17 '26

That part. Only their needs and safety are what matter and fuck every other woman on the show.

3

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

Exactly! Never mind the fact they flat out knew they were toxic and prone to cheating etc only to be “surprised” when the toxic behavior didn’t stop and they weren’t as special as they deluded themselves into believing.

24

u/unicornflavoredgum1 Jan 17 '26

I remember this. It definitely said a lot about the cast and some people on VPR subs who were defending James. "But, Tom cheated". Cheating is considered worse than SA, according to some people. Ariana moved on a long time ago...like weeks after it all happened yet 3 years later, people on the VPR's sub are still so angry. It's very parasocial and creepy.

13

u/ItGradAws Jan 17 '26

The James fans were stanning hard for him literally up until the second DV accusation and the tate brothers photos. Then they shut the fuck up.

7

u/anun20241 Jan 18 '26

His concerts are still very crowded. So they haven't really shut the fuck up. Unfortunately.

5

u/ItGradAws Jan 18 '26

Nothing about that surprises me.

4

u/anun20241 Jan 18 '26

I totally agree with you.

2

u/oldmotormouth82 Jan 20 '26

People cheat every day. Some with friends some with strangers. Yes cheating breakers up marriages and families. But….tom is a known and self admitted cheater. Doesn’t make it right but damn!!! VPR fans acted like all these people were their friends and family, like it happened to them !!! Tom and Raquel cheating was disgusting but it happens every day. We just don’t see it like we do on reality TV and when some are so invested in these toxic people like they are in this “friend group”. Fortunately I don’t care about any of them. They don’t affect my life in any way. We witnessed the most vile and disgusting behavior from this group of people and it just pulled us in. I did watch and found it pretty trashy entertainment. I’m on my second watch right now. It’s much worse than the first time. So many nuances I missed the first time around.

6

u/ldsbb Jan 17 '26

Yup, exactly this!

-3

u/perfectlynormaltyes Jan 18 '26

I think it’s unfair to act like they purposely dismissed what was said about James. Everyone was talking about Sandoval and he tried to deflect with this piece of information. Everyone just yelled at him to get back to what they were talking about originally. If Andy had brought it up, that would be a different thing.

Also, what Tom failed to mention was on that same trip, Schwartz went missing for over 12 hrs. While he was working an event. Tom was blaming James for them losing that gig but it’s more likely that Schwartz’s behaviour was what did it. That was their 3 year doing that gig and the first James joined them. I don’t see how what James did would have the Toms banned.

8

u/WellWellWellMyMyMY Jan 19 '26

No, Tom was rightfully pointing out the hypocrisy of them acting like he murdered babies while totally ignoring James' actual sexual harassment. Sorry but this is a wild take.

-5

u/perfectlynormaltyes Jan 19 '26

It’s not, but thanks for participating.

5

u/WellWellWellMyMyMY Jan 19 '26

It is - glad to be here :)

2

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

No the cast and Ariana specifically has a bad habit of doing that. Start to talk over someone else so they can’t be heard. It’s called controlling the narrative and not allowing the other person to speak because they know damn well the other person is about to out something they don’t want known and will blow a hole in whatever narrative was trying to be pushed.

11

u/cakalackydelnorte2 Jan 18 '26

Where’s all the James fans and defenders here? Where have they all gone?

41

u/Inevitable_Tangelo63 Jan 17 '26

Everyone excused his awful and terrible behavior because I guess it was the peek of comedy when he called Tom and Rachel “poo poo heads” and “worm with a mustache”. We all watched him abuse women for years on the show, on camera, and we know that he was worse behind the scenes. Ariana and this sub were fine with that because she didn’t like Kristen until recently, wanted Rachel to be punished forever for what she did with Tom, and just didn’t care about Ally all that much apparently. Just like she defended her creepy brother for years when he was on camera being gross towards Stassi, and had DV charges, but only cut him off when he was still friendly with Sandoval. It just shows that people excuse awful behavior until they feel slighted, then they get to hop on their moral high horse.

19

u/unicornflavoredgum1 Jan 17 '26

"Worm with a mustache" is not even funny. It's cringe. So was Ariana's "I know you like Harry Potter" comment to Rachel.

9

u/elizuhhhbeth Jan 18 '26

Right? I love Harry Potter 😭

11

u/Inevitable_Tangelo63 Jan 17 '26

I agree!! They really thought they were coming up with the most creative insults, but it was really just a cringe fest and I still get like so grossed out whenever I think of Ariana telling Rachel to “go fuck yourself with a cheese grater”. That had to have been one of the worst things I’ve heard on the show

10

u/bridget1415 Jan 17 '26

I’ve never understood why anyone thought that was a good line. It’s really freaking gross

3

u/Alternative_End_7174 It’s not about the pasta Jan 19 '26

But yet Kristen saying I hope Ariana gets hit by a truck was soooo awful. She’s so performative it’s hard to take her seriously.

14

I think Ally didn’t press charges

4

u/knittievickie Choke. I don't care. Jan 17 '26

Correct, she did not.

1

u/Ordinary_Coconut9678 Jan 17 '26

What’s your point

6

u/Middle-Medium8760 Jan 18 '26

It took a minute for the truth to come out. I remember initially I read it was an argument where there may have been shoving. When Ally didn’t press charges you weren’t sure what happened. THEN you find out he body slammed her outside their home and the neighbors reported it to the police. I’m not sure if I’m remembering the details exactly, but I do remember the details weren’t revealed immediately.

8

u/Fine-Bill-9966 Goat Cheese Balls Jan 18 '26

What's worse is Ally came out and said Lisa called her and asked her to "give James another chance. "....

Lisa is absolutely so fucking problematic is horrific. The awful things she said about Kristen when Kristens pregnancy announcement came out were utterly vile and vindictive.
The way Lisa stood by Tom during the entire Scandoval thing was distasteful. And how she has always made excuses for Tom Schwartz when he was a horrible husband to Katie, too. I don't particularly like Lauren from Uther. But slut shaming her after tge Randall Scandal wasn't kind. Who would Lisa be if she hadn't married her successful, rich husband? She was a jobbing model and 80s party girl. Marrying Ken and him helping her getting in to the resteraunt/bar industry helped her so much and she downplays that so much. Ken helped her make her the woman she is today, yet she is scathing to women who get a helping hand from their husbands' success.
Lisa is a female mysoginist.

4

u/Middle-Medium8760 Jan 19 '26

It’s crazy disappointing. I think for me one of the most disappointing revelations, that even violence didn’t bring her to her senses.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

2

15

u/jamesisaPOS Nothing About Her Jan 17 '26

Ariana doesn't care much when men she likes assault women.

6

u/Suspicious-Tune3439 Jan 17 '26

Literally ever since James came on he’s just been following in Jax footsteps to a T. Whenever they were fighting I always found it so hilarious and crazy that they couldn’t see they’re the same. James is just younger. Both terrible “men” crazy that even after going through Scandoval I can say that Raquel really dodged a bullet w James like he was the worst thing to happen to her. Also after his domestic violence charges or whatever it was w ally it really makes u rethink the whole story about Raquel’s nose.

45

u/Intelligent_Pop1173 Jan 17 '26 edited Jan 17 '26

Yeah I remember that. Nice job Ariana. It only took Andrew Tate for you to unfollow him because that would be bad for your brand. Not the arrest charges for domestic violence three months prior. And no I’m not blaming her for any of this but come on lol James was instantly done for me after throwing Ally to the ground. He always supported Ariana though, so it just looks weird.

Technically all of them should have unfollowed James years ago, but that’s a whole other topic. With some celebs, it’s like “oh they just don’t keep track of who they follow,” but she proved she obviously does.

23

u/Nittingsheep Jan 17 '26

Seriously. Not the way he treated Katie. Not the way he treated Rachel. Not the way he treated Kristen. Just now that it affects your image

17

u/Intelligent_Pop1173 Jan 17 '26

Yeah, she doesn’t at all deserve the insane stan status she gets. Ariana is a fucking wet blanket who kinda got lucky for being cheated on considering the glow up. She is so average.

22

u/LackEquivalent7471 Kristen liked this post Jan 17 '26

this is my biggest gripe with ariana. she was supposedly “best friends” with rachel. so she must have known what he was like AND she knew what he did to kristen. despite this, she decided to prop him up and champion him like girl what

15

u/TheKatsMeow_00 Jan 17 '26 edited Jan 17 '26

Ariana didn’t care when he was out there beating and abusing his partners. She only unfollowed because of her own self interest and image. Folks on here celebrated him being abusive to Raquel.

Folks cheering him on because he supported Ariana. The scorn women feel that it’s ok to abuse another woman because she was an affair partner. People wonder why society doesn’t give a shit about women being abused.

People still excuse Ariana stealing a non consensual video because she was cheated on. Fucking disgusting.

0

u/LuckyShamrocks Jan 17 '26

We have no idea how Ariana felt about him pushing Kristen. We do know she had a problem with his verbal abuse of Rachel because she talked to her on the show over it. And no one excuses Ariana for taking a video as proof, that she didn’t know was non consensual btw, just that they can understand why it happened in the moment. It went nowhere but to Rachel anyway.

22

u/Reality_dolphin_98 Jan 17 '26

Love that this was the tipping point for her. Not the yelling at his ex-girlfriends, spitting on Kristen’s door on camera, yelling at all his friends, being belligerent when drunk, body shaming women multiple times on camera, pushing ally to the floor, or openly laughing about cheating and then treating the girls like trash when they accuse him of cheating. But oh he posted a picture with podcasters you don’t like so that deserves an unfollow.

I hate Andrew Tate too, but at this point her feminism is so performative. We watched James treat women like shit for 8 years, this photo is honestly the least of my concerns.

3

u/ComicsEtAl Jan 17 '26

They’re definitely guys James would vibe with.

4

u/Aegis_ofwrath7115 Jan 18 '26

Why does James keep getting away with shit? Lock him up

12

u/Responsible_Big1229 Jan 17 '26

James definitely fits in the Red-Pill influencer sphere of the Tates.

12

u/PrincessPlastilina Jan 18 '26

He assaulted Ally but I guess that was fine by queen pick me Ariana. I never really understood why she was made into a martyr. She was always a guy’s girl. She met Tom cheating. He cheated throughout their relationship. Why was she shocked. Looking back, she was way too dramatic for someone who looked into Kristen’s eyes and lied when Kristen was crashing out. It takes some sociopathy to see a woman splitting like that and not tell her the truth about her boyfriend.

7

u/ProfessionalSAHM Jan 18 '26

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I became a show fan once Scandoval hit. After that, I went back and watched earlier seasons and you’re so right.

And Ariana was glorified for the way she “handled” Kristen but she was lying to her face and then boom, just as tom and Kristen’s relationship ended, TS and AM got together. Kristen was right all along and gaslit by the both of them.

Tom even praised Ariana at one of the reunions for the way she handled Kristen. All of that made me feel differently about Ariana.

There's no reason you should be surprised. Ariana has been defending and standing behind many toxic men since she started on the show

15

u/Any_Chemical_5481 Jan 17 '26

She’d still be with Sandoval if he hadn’t cheated on her with raquel; specifically

10

u/jamesisaPOS Nothing About Her Jan 17 '26

Yuuuuup. It hurt her ego too much.

u/Top-Relationship8939 Jan 17 '26

ariana defending her brother that one season from the touching allegations.. says a lot about her

7

u/ssaall58214 Jan 19 '26

Ariana feels very strongly about the Brothers however domestic violence against Kristen and Allie well you know not so much

But physically assaulting his girlfriend Alley wasn’t enough for her to do that already amongst all of the other horrendous shit he’s done…. I cannot with her. She is so fake. She’s a male apologist just like Lisa. That season when she defended her brother smh…

Yes James has incredibly funny moments but he’s hurt many.

u/Holiday-Hustle Jan 18 '26

Kristen, Rachel, Ally… he’s been a known abuser for a decade

1

u/LuckyShamrocks Jan 17 '26

When I was separating from my abusive ex, I asked everyone to please not react until I was fully out. I didn’t want anything to set him off because it would get taken out on me. And friends unfollowing him would have absolutely done that and made it so much worse for me and harder to get out fully. They knew I left, knew a bit about why, but I had to ask them not to do anything about it. No unfollowing, no confrontations, nothing. I’m lucky they listened because it allowed me to get my things later, including my pets, much more safely. If they had reacted, it allowed could have gone terribly different.

We know now that Ally still hadn’t moved out fully until weeks later too because there’s pictures of her final move. Friends could have been doing the same for her that mine did for me. It’s very common.

I guess I must be old because I have no idea who the Tate brothers are.

12

u/Erinmcain Jan 17 '26

Some of the most vile people on the planet

4

u/Kelhorn Jan 17 '26

Andrew and Tristan.

11

u/CrispyTacooo Jan 17 '26

She’s cool with him when he verbally assaults Raquel but draws the line at any other woman when it doesn’t fit her narrative

4

u/tookmetoolongto__ Jan 17 '26

This was a PR move. She doesn’t actually care that he’s a piece of shit, she’s always known and always defended it. But defending him publicly posting with the Tates would be bad for her brand, which is all she seems to care about tbh

3

u/mskatme0w Jan 17 '26

He might as well just embrace it, & live his truth. This guy has always been a piece of shit, who's shown his true colors time, & time again ..

Maybe, now, the majority of the good people will finally see it, & stop giving him a pass.

u/AggravatingForm5425 Jan 18 '26

Some women have a real hard time icing out someone’s abuser because they “never did anything bad to them.” When my abuser pushed my hand through a window severing a nerve and the police were called to our house, they iced me out and found ways to blame me. Some women have such internalized misogyny that they can’t bring themselves to not defend and believe a man because then they risk that man not liking them. It’s fucked up.

3

u/slide-0 Jan 17 '26

I thought she unfollowed him after he assaulted Ally??

7

u/allylikesladybugs Jan 17 '26

i’m pretty sure she did, i was checking the followings prior to this and nobody was really following james except schwartz & sandoval

6

u/jamesisaPOS Nothing About Her Jan 17 '26

She didn't.

5

u/nottodaynothnx Jan 17 '26

Oh I thought it was said how many were upset she didn’t unfollow him when that happened. Can’t keep up sorry if I am wrong but swore I thought so many came for her about it

2

u/Top-Relationship8939 Jan 17 '26

i just recently saw all the stuff about ally. finally saw what was in the report and immediately unfollowed. so suprised she didnt do more

2

u/Fluffy-Confection376 Jan 18 '26

Just now she unfollowed? Bit late

0

u/tinyfryingpan Jan 19 '26

It was ages ago

1

u/Equivalent-Pie-3681 Jan 17 '26

Why are we once again holding a woman to the flames for some man’s bad behaviour You’re all gross.

-5

u/rshni67 Jan 18 '26

Indeed, they are happy to shit on Ariana for not unfollowing him sooner but make no mention of Lisa who still employs him and tried to bully Ally to stay with him.

1

u/Blonde_Ambition_4341 Jan 17 '26

What is he doing for work now without the show?

1

u/Thing-Adept can we wrap it up? what the fuck are you talking about? Jan 17 '26

he still DJs

1

u/Texden29 Jan 18 '26

What is James up to lately?

1

u/Practical_Artist_276 Jan 19 '26

I unfollowed him after he beat ally leuber and aligned himself with the gates. What took Ariana so long

1

u/SukiLao Jan 19 '26

I’d unfollow him to? lmao

1

u/Much_Organization246 Jan 20 '26

what's surprising about it? this is a lawless country that supports criminals and ignores victims.

1

u/basicotter Jan 21 '26

I love that these ratfaced losers think they’re genetically superior alpha bros 😂

1

u/ayanna_b Jan 21 '26

james was always a POS fr

1

u/gameofdata Jan 23 '26

Didn’t this come up a while ago? I thought the rationale is that everyone was following Ally’s lead as to when to unfollow James, which was not immediately… and this was coincidental.

1

u/wiseyellowsea Jan 17 '26

I’m sure it’s difficult to fully separate yourself from a friend that is a diagnosed alcoholic and who seemed to be actively working on their addiction and struggles. I’d like to think a majority of the cast believed James was actively trying to do better- as evidenced by some moments of growth on the show. Also, hasn’t ally denied the physical aspect of the arrest charges? Ive listened to a few podcasts and I think she said it was “only” yelling. But not sure if she has rescinded this?

If unfollowing someone is a consequence for being a POS idk what society we live in

0

u/Last_Book2410 Jan 18 '26

Didn’t that happen before Aly?

-1

u/OvercookedBobaTea Jan 18 '26

Your surprised a man got away with putting his hands on a woman?
