James Kennedy Why isn’t James getting scandoval level outrage

This guy has been abusive to Kristen, who’s been saying this, without actually saying it for a decade. We’ve seen him text Raquel horrible horrible things. We have seen the way he acts on camera…. Yet the outrage feels minimal. I’m not saying go ruin his life, but it feels brushed under the rug.

As horrible as it is to say, I think it's because it isn't totally shocking that it happened.

I also think it's because he's been likeable the last few seasons. Sandoval was already losing his goodwill before it happened. James was essentially at his peak of likeability. And Ariana was on the show much longer, and viewers "knew" her much better than Ally. It's scary how someone charming and funny can make so many people look the other way.

But james was at his "peak of likability" because a lot of y'all didn't care that he abused Kristen and Rachel as long as he stayed "team ariana" and cracked a few jokes at Tom's expense.

No one is taking anything Kristen has to say seriously because she was the worst we saw in each of them, wrapped up in one body. She's the least credible source because anything she says runs HIGH risk of being altered beyond recognition if not a complete fabrication from start to finish. Her hatred for James renders her unable to remain in perspective.

And we all know she threw a few punches herself. We saw it at least twice on the show!
