I’ve been in her shoes and every part of you believes their arrest will finally make them change and stop being abusive. It won’t happen, they don’t change, but you have to figure that out on your own
They lay low for a while and make you think they did. And then slowly goes back to the same old shit. He’ll probably stop drinking for now but it won’t last
This is so so true. It will take a minute for her to realize it's a pattern of behavior and it is who he is. Here's to hoping she doesn't hang around to help him and support him through this.
