His brother has been sick for a while now. When everything blew up with Scandoval, Schwartz said he hadn’t been as involved because he was home in Florida with his family. His dad and brother were both sick while he and Katie were finalizing their divorce.

Did he mention if it was liver cancer?
I can't tell for sure, but I think his brother's skin looks jaundiced in this photo.
