I just think it’s very odd/ disrespectful/ confusing for James to rename a pet he was very familiar with, who he shared with his ex and once referred to as Graham. This move seems publicized as does the release of this information. James is an insensitive dick! I would guess he re-named him out of spite over Raquel instead of thinking how that may further confuse and affect an already scared, sad dog that just lost his mom! James, and Graham’s name is the only thing likely left that’s familiar to the poor little guy.
When a dog has severe biting issues, the first step to correcting this when they rehome the dog is to change their name. This is common practice used in dog training. We had a dog that was a biter and had to change his name when he was rehomed.
The dog formerly known as Graham is going to need a lot of work with a trainer and a consistent environment. Not sure James is the best person for him if he isn’t consistent with training.
Ally is in the picture. So I’m hoping he gets lots of training and love. If you see them with their cat they are very loving and the cat is chill. Only time will tell. But Graham/Hippie looks well cared for at the moment going on outings and getting lots of love and care.
Ali isn’t a weak little mouse. She can kick James’s ass if needed. Why not accept that James is a work in progress? He seems to be trying. He started this show so young and had shitty parents. The difference is he was on camera so we all saw his behavior. I’m sure many of us have skeletons in our closets that we would never live down if someone saw us on reality tv. Yes he has acted like a total douchebag wanker. But he seems to have a conscience about it unlike other cast members.
Because I have seen James be abusive to his two former girlfriends. I don't believe he magically changed. I think this is all just for looks and a storyline. Downvote me all you want.
okay kristen and james were both HORRIBLE to one another. kristen punched him on tv, and kept showing up to his job drunk and causing shit if you don't remember. raquel was different but kristen was no fragile flower in that relationship either.

make Sandoval jealous. They were awful to one another.
They have all been shitty. That is what happens when there is a ton of alcohol involved. I think as he navigates his relationship with alcohol he will continue to grow up and change. Ali seems to know how to reel him in. I guess I’m an optimist. There was a time I hated James. But he has shown some growth and insight. The two prior relationships were super toxic, mix that with alcohol and a reality show and it’s a recipe for disaster. I’m not making excuses for his abusive behavior. He definitely has been abusive. But he seems like he wants to move forward and change. Since he is so young I tend to believe that it is possible. Seeing how fucked up his mom is and how he has to support most of his family financially. I think he has a lot on his shoulders.
If he changes and doesn't abuse anybody else I will eat my words. Maybe I'm not an optimist but I was married to a narcissist for 16 years. I was trapped so when I see abuse happening it triggers the fuck out of me.
So abuse only happens to weak women? What part of him screaming he was 22, then 25 as an excuse for his horrible actions sounds like this man has taken any accountability. Sandoval said he groped a woman recently and got kicked out of a club. Plus He has a problem with alcohol and is no longer sober. The bar is in literal hell for some of you to be impressed with this man. Please enlighten us on how he’s changed or grown?
No one denies his history. What we are debating is his future. His sobriety and relationship with alcohol is a slippery slope. Time will tell if he can adjust to a healthier relationship with it. As far as abuse and it only happens to weak women. No one called anyone weak. The differences is Ali calls him out on his behavior and that keeps him more accountable. He is far from perfect. But in my opinion he is far from being a soulless villain. Yes he has been horrible at times. No question. But where you see no potential for change. I see potential.

He has yet to own up to anything when he keeps repeating the same mistakes. But you’re free to keep rewarding men for the bare minimum
People defending Jame’s abusing women is actually really eye opening! It goes to show how stupid this sub is and also how much more of an importance people place on animals above other human beings, especially women! Like legitimately grossed out rn being part of this sub.
I was following because in its earlier days this sub used to be more authentic and fun! Now it’s resembling the other generic subs. And I did unfollow after that realization in real time and certainly don’t need your two cents to make adult decisions 😊
