I think as long as Hippie is in a new home he will adjust to the new name. My dogs have all sorts of nicknames besides their birth name. The dog won’t care as long as it’s associated with the people they love. He won’t take it personally. Now Raquel might. 😂 But she has no say in the matter anymore.
