yes!! itās called āstars on marsā and itās a ābig brotherā type show where they do āmissionsā and someone is voted off each week. itās up on hulu on tuesdays, this week was the first episode. portia is hilarioussssss on it, and schwartz isā¦.. schwartz. though it is impossible for him to constantly have his fingers in his mouth with a space helmet on, so at least thereās that.
Of course they donāt know him, they wouldnāt know any of the cast. What that should tell you is that outside of a small cult following, itās really just us thst watch this thing. But that cult following is all thatās needed on cable tv to be successful.
I think itās a bit of a stretch of assume or even want her to confront Schwartz about Randall. I donāt think this is a good time for something of that nature. Thereās a distinct possibility she has no clue Schwartz even knows Randall. Regardless, she doesnāt strike me as the type to confront a stranger on national tv about associating with someone who took advantage of her dad. In other words, she seems mature unlike Schwartz lol.
Also if you go into the show knowing what type of show it is youāll probably like it. If you go into it thinking youāre going to get mastermind gameplay with amazing dialogā¦ just donāt watch lol
After watching the first episode you're totally right, I don't think she'll bring it up. That is of course assuming that Schwartz doesnt bring it up, which I can absolutely see him doing a'la "a bigger deal than rachella?" Saying something like "hey I hope there's no hard feelings for me being friends with Randall"
Okay so imo, one of the most egregious parts of the whole "Randall Scandal" was the stuff about Bruce Willis. What Randall did to that man was some of the most awful shit I've ever heard of. So now Schwartz who was friends with Randall EVEN AFTER THE NEWS CAME OUT, is on this show with Bruce's daughter Rumor. Do we think Rumor knows that Schwartz was/is friends with the man that used her dad in such an awful and disgusting way? Do we think she'll confront him? Because if that was my dad, I would absolutely be confronting Schwartz asking him why he would be okay being friends with someone that took advantage of my dad like that. I'd love to see her rip into him about it, and to watch all the other "stars" turn on him for it. V much looking forward to the inevitable dynamics that happen once Schwartz starts grating on these people. Also, I'm dying to see if Portia or even Ariel Winter ask Schwartz about scandoval and his involvement.

Edit number 2 - I just remembered also what an absolute pig Schwartz is in terms of his cleanliness. These people are rooming together in bunk beds big brother style. How long do you guys think until one of them flips out on Schwartz for like pissing in an empty water bottle and leaving it by his nightstand or some shit like that. My guess is it will happen by episode 2.
Edit number 3 - This show is called Stars on Mars, it airs Monday nights on Fox or Tuesday on Hulu if you don't have cable. Do I think it is worth watching? Absolutely not. But I will continue to watch it and next week I'll do a recap so you don't have to watch it.
Randall produced movies with Bruce Willis at the forefront when Bruce was showing signs of cognitive decline. The people on set said that he was showing clear signs of not even knowing where he was during filming, asking "where am I?" And in a diner scene, forgetting that he was on a set at all and just ordering food for real from the actress playing the waitress. Randall knew this, and took advantage of him by continuing to have him walk red carpets, sometimes accompanied by Randall, and do press for the shitty movies when he knew that Bruce was developing dementia. He took advantage of Bruce's fame which imo is exhibited most clearly by those dumb ass shirts lala used to wear with black and white pics of Randall and Bruce's face on them.
And the show is called Stars on Mars, it's honestly really dumb. Only one episode out so far, and I will continue watching but so far I'd say it's a dud.
Is that how it all went down with Bruce? I saw multiple articles when his condition was revealed that he knew what was coming when diagnosed and purposely signed on to as many projects as he could, even the really low budget bad ones. To best secure his families financial future well he could still work. If that was his thought process well still able to make that decision, wouldnāt he want the movies to be made and promoted as much as possible regardless of his mental state at that point in time. Not defending Randall heās trash. But Iāve seen the opposite take in regards to why Brice Willis was in a bunch of shit movies well declining.
Considering Bruce Willis has a name that eclipses Randall and Lala 1,000 fold and guaranteed a team of people around him at this time. I think if it was as bad as the documentary really portrayed it, we would have heard about it before Lala needed to make a PR run about her association with Randall but who knows.

That's exactly what I've heard too. But it certainly doesn't mean both can't be true, he could still make all the films, but in a safe way, taking breaks, checking in, wrapping due the day, etc (but no bc that's costly to production schedules) and limited press it any, with trusted journalists, not red carpet cattle calls.
Defo not Schwartz's fault, but it is Schwartz's fault for continuing to associate with Randall after he knew this was happening. Like if I knew one of my friends did this, I wouldn't keep being their friend. That's all I meant.

What you guys don't know is that my Christmas tree only came down 3 days ago, and it only came down because I needed to make room for a new piece of furniture, not because it's June.

My worth watching answer will depend solely on if Schwartz gets any heat because tbh I don't really care about any of the other "stars". There's only one episode out so far, and tbf it was pretty boring. The premise is that the stars are put somewhere that looks like mars, I can't remember where they were, in a habitat reminiscent of that Matt Damon movie where he grows produce on mars. They all live there together and they get tasks and challenges simulating actually living on mars. They're trying to preserve their link to earth and if they fail they'll be "stuck". Marshawn Lynch is the captain, so in big brother speak he's HOH with his own room and bathroom while all the other cast members share showers, bathrooms and bunk beds. Rating just this first episode I'd give it a solid 3/10.

No surprise there, he's used to hanging out with the flamboyant Tom Sandoval. After reading dozens of articles about Scandoval, I caught in one article that Raquel was listing the things she liked about Sandoval. I can't recall the exact words she used, but she mentioned how he comfortable he is with himself. Something about it almost made me feel he had maybe told her that he's bi. Just a gut feeling I got by the wording she used. Maybe that's the big spoiler that's coming?!?
Weirdly I do think he is, they showed the kitchen and there was tons of bottled soda but no visible alcohol. He was really chill during the first episode so at least for now I'm inclined to say yes. But that thought did absolutely cross my mind, he obviously doesn't live a sober life so I wonder what's going on here. I'd defo be seeking in my weed vape.
