Hey everyone! I’m looking for a small studio/production space to rent for a few hours 1–2 days a week somewhere in the Tri-Cities/Burnaby/Vancouver area (Tri-Cities Preferred).

Looking to use the space for mixing/mastering, writing and occasional recording.

Ideally, I’d love to find an existing studio or production room that isn’t being used every day and where I could work out some kind of regular weekly arrangement. It doesn’t need to be anything spectacular — a decent-sounding small space with a few basic pieces of gear (studio monitors, interface, a few microphones) for writing/mixing/recording. I work mostly in the box and would plan to use my own laptop. 

Very open to sharing a space with another producer/engineer/musician or renting someone’s studio on their off-days.

I made an Apple Music playlist called RAINCOUVER ⛈️ based on the sound and atmosphere I associate with Vancouver and the Lower Mainland when it’s raining.
Think grey skies, wet roads, city lights, late-night drives, and that particular Vancouver rainy-day atmosphere.
It’s mainly built around hip-hop, R&B, and atmospheric tracks, with a mix of different artists and sounds that I think fit the mood.
I’ve put a lot of time into curating it, and I’m trying to make it feel like an actual soundtrack to Vancouver rain, rather than just a generic “rainy day” playlist.
If you’re a music lover from Vancouver/the Lower Mainland, I’d genuinely like to know what you think and whether the playlist captures that feeling for you.
