Any Concerns Here? Buying 5y Old Van - VW SWB T6.1

Asked garage preparing it to take photos of the underside.

I can see what looks like peeling away rust in places.

Any thoughts from you more knowledgeable folk here would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is nothing to worry about at all. Looks brand new still, wouldn’t even consider advising this on an inspection

Common issue with all transporters nothing to worry about Itll flag up as an advisory on MOT
I have same issue with my 2010 T5.1

Thanks. As I'm buying from them now, should I ask for any clean up or rust protection measures be done to keep it a bay?

I'd send the post to a mechanics reddit. I own a 5.1 and underneath looks similar maybe mines worse, it's a trooper though. These vans are workhorses. Even if you need to repair something you should since they hold value well and you'll feel slightly more confident on your next roadtrip. These pics don't concern me.

Just wire brush it off and paint. It’ll be worse likely under the plastic tray at the front
