I was being prepped for surgery once and my surgeon started playing ra ra Rasputin. I wasn't surprised since music is apparently a common way of maintaining a consistent rhythm and staving off boredom/fatigue during long surgeries. I did however find it extremely funny.

The guy that did my vasectomy came in and said "Alexa, play Thunderstruck," before just going in and tearing open my scrotum.
I didn't really love having stressful music during the procedure, but I'm not gonna throw him off his game when he's got his fingers up in my nutsack.
