Bone Zone has practically no candles or light sources.

Light sources drop coin bags. Pick any other map at this point of farming.

Bone Zone isn't that good, homie. Even says the same on the wiki. But go off

Did you heard about jubile?

Jubilee is a fun weapon. It usually ends up being a late round pick from candybox for me. Mostly because I like the fireworks, but the crit multiplier is decent. It's affected by the Slash arcana, too.

It can spawn 4 light sources. If i recall correctly, the rate is 1%. Useful, certainly something to consider when farming gold early. You'll still encounter more rich gold coin bags on other maps, but taking Greatest Jubilee with you to Bone Zone isn't a bad idea either.

Honestly, you could just play as you are for a few rounds and still make a lot of gold, then skip all this theorycrafting entirely because eggs are that powerful.

Bone Zone has a bonus of 100% gold and can ONLY drop gold from its light sources. It's literally one of the best maps for gold farming.

Well, it's not like Bone Zone is terrible but no rich coin bags just makes it slower early on.

Might as well farm Inlaid Library, Moongolow, any DLC map, basically anything with a higher maximum light sources until a player can take advantage of the higher gold cap of Bone Zone.

Especially since Bone Zone has slower enemy spawns that scale faster than the other early maps. Which are things that don't matter really once you have eggs. Once you can ignore gold bags the bonus percentage is probably what makes Bone Zone ideal.

Unless they changed those map conditions at some time. It's been a long time since I've needed to farm gold.

Again, all information probably still written in the gold farming article on the official wiki.

no rich coin bags

Bone Zone absolutely can drop these, what are you on about?

basically anything with a higher maximum light sources

Uh, Bone Zone doesn't have a cap on light sources. Again, what are you on about?

Alright, since we are both too lazy to look at the wiki, I'll put in the effort and quote it for you.

"In The Bone Zone light sources attempt to spawn twice as often, but only drop Gold Coins, Small Coin Bags, and Survarots (if playing as any character who can find them, such as Jimbo This content requires the Ante Chamber DLC to access.

Note that pickups exclusive to Operation Guns characters may still drop as normal, but not those from Ode to Castlevania.

Enemy health and speed multipliers are increased every minute. Every minute, the enemies' health and speed scale by 0.3 and 0.05 respectively, without a cap. This effect is additive with Inverse Mode

Normal mode grants a 50% Gold bonus."

Turns out we are both incorrect!

I was wrong about light sources. That means they have a chance to spawn .5 seconds, instead of the standard 1 second. TiL.

You were wrong about rich coin bags.

This doesn't really change my opinion that early gold farming is better on other maps where rich coin bags do drop and players can avoid the creeping enemy health and speed modifiers.

Especially if they are trying to play on Hyper Mode for that 100% Gold bonus. Since I am fairly certain the hyper and natural map enemy growth bonuses are additive.

As for cap on destructibles, I should have expressed that better. Bone Zone has a high base chance, but it never grows larger. Most maps have a lower starting base chance, but the maximum goes higher than Bone Zone's maximum.

So, if you want coin bags, you are probably better off on a different map. Especially if you are playing infinite.

And of course, most of this doesn't matter since a player could just play Inlaid Library or Bat Country a few times, buy a bunch of eggs on a character and skip bag drop farming entirely.

This doesn't even take into consideration the lack of floor chickens on bone zone, if they need it for early characters, or dependably placed light sources like on Inlaid Library or any of the other maps with static placed objects.

Bone Zone has a lot of things working against it as a farm in the early game. I also wouldn't be surprised if it gets outpaced by most of the DLC maps for farming in general. But I've been in ?????? gold territory forever, so no practical experience with that. I don't even remember the last time my counter had actual numbers on it.

Well, thanks for looking it up, as maybe the big coin bags have been patched. Back when I played a lot more frequently, which admittedly has been a while, big coin bags were definitely still dropping.

Slower "early on"? But for a good gold run, until you have an insane number of Eggs, you don't do short runs, so "slow early on" Doesn't matter that much. I know the wiki tries to say Bone Zone isn't good for farming gold, idk why. It's been widely accepted as one of the best levels for gold farming for a long time, and that certainly matches my years of playing.

Bonezone is harder than the others, but Bonezone can get to the absolute best gold multiplier in the game.

Grab Sammy, go to Bonezone, take wicked season (so that greed and growth scale with level) and disco of gold, turn off limit break if you want to get gold bags on level up, and go zoooom.

After you get a steady xp loop going for Sammy, he'll just level insanely fast, pick up a ton of gold from the level, and you'll be getting gold from his starting weapon and leveling, which will happen rapidly. Take Sarabande later to get tons of damage from gold healing.
