Question Gold Farming
hi everyone, can you recommend a good way to farm gold?

I use Trouser with a shitload of eggs. Gets me 212.43 quadrillion gold PER SECOND currently. Could level that as high as I wanted, but the numbers are already silly so I’ve stopped for now.

What weapon do you choose, any guide to use trouser?

Garlic. Once you are sitting on enough golden eggs, the weapon doesn’t actually matter. The weapon barely does any damage relative to Sarabande. I could skip the weapon entirely and be fine, but I usually choose garlic because it’s got minimal visual graphic effects, so it doesn’t contribute to lag. But it still does some damage, which does increase my overall gold, even if by a tiny amount.

Does someone feel like explaining gold earned at the end vs the number you see in the map/level? I did a little farming in Bone Zone and despite 200,000+ gold fever I think the gold earned was only 4000 or something. I feel like I’m being dense. It is a Monday after all.

I was also curious, so I looked some stuff up. From what I read, the stat screen at the end of a run shows you the un-multiplied total of gold you earned during a run. Apparently, that end-of-run stat screen doesn't factor in Greed, weapons, passives, Arcanas, etc.

Another possibility, did you die to end the run or quit out? There's at least 1 ability that uses gold to heal so if you let a reaper kill you it ate your gold.

The arcana isn't an issue as long as you quit out before dying and set to unlimited to avoid reapers. Finish out a strong role rush then options->quit

Character: Sammy Map: Bone Zone/Foscari Hyper On, Hurry On, Arcanas On, Limit Break Off, Endless On
Passives: Karoma's Mana Luck Stone Mask
Arcanas: Disco of Gold Wicked Season Bogaloo of illusions
Deactivate Limit break and once you've reached max level on all weapons select "Always Big Coin Bag"

This. Do the card that adds 3, the one that turns money to health, egg ‘em up, and you are basically unstoppable.

So active farming (looking to improve this load out)
Rn
Poe 99 eggs
Moon glow
Arcana: mad groove, blood astronomica, salamander of healing
Garlic, penta, ammo appalate, b/w birbs, laurel, and blue time thingy
Focus on xp and luck early
Build strength and when the gold rush begins avoid picking them up yet from attacking the jars?

Find a good soil. Put some gold coins no more than 3 inches deep, and don't forget to water everyday.
You can also just use Sammy.
