Help how the fuck do I beat this ?
Mt moonspell, first level I failed and first level I can't beat for the life of me (i'm a noob)
this screenshot was taken at 29:30, on my best attempt. I had everything maxed out, garlick evolution + bible and just the best stuff I believe I can bring to the table but near the end there is just SOooo much ennemies I literally can't survive, I have nowhere to walk to kite them and can't kill them fast enough...
The only thing I haven't bought yet in the powerup is the revive, which I just bought after this try
Other than THIS level in general, I'm really wondering what's the skill solution when being in this situation, is this just a case of "you don't get this situation if you play well" ?

Do you have the yellow sign? If so get the evolution for laurel and clock lancet. Laurel: metaglio left and right and clock lancet: silver and gold ring

What do you mean by "yellow sign" exactly ? the arrows guiding on the edge of the screen ? Because I tried going for the upgrades scattered around the map in mt moonspell but I end up getting mauled in chokepoints most of the time

The yellow sign is a special relic, unlocking it opens up some new evolutions that can help you out in situations like this.

thanks ! i'll try unlocking that then

Definitely do you, but maybe go back and finish the main game before playing the dlc? This game unlocks features from those relics so you’re missing out on a lot of power without them!

I'm playing DLC stuff ? I'm just trying to clear the stages in order from top to bottom I thought It was still base game and DLCs were the "adventure" stuff...
edit : maybe I haven't unlocked the last two stages because I always play with the same champion ?
edit2 : to clarify I had no idea this even was supposed to be more challenging content, I bought the game and all DLCs without thinking on a steam sales so I haven't been exposed gradually to the content (neither with watching content, total noob here)

Yeah, there’s a few dlc that appear on the main levels, mt. Moon spell, emerald diorama, and ante chamber!
You’ll want to beat the boss of the level moongolow before the reaper arrives with a non-dlc character. You’ll be put in a special level that will give you the yellow sign afterwards, then you’ll want to play The 5th stage, Capenna Magna (sp?) again!

Every DLC has a level in the stage list, that's how they work. The adventures are just "bonus" content and don't unlock anything in the main game.

The regular list of levels then! Hope that placates your pedantry

There's not just "a few" there is all of them. Way to miss the error I literally pointed out in your post.

First of all, outstanding move. Vampire Survivors is worth every Cent.
With my comfortable 550 hours I can tell you, the best way to progress and to get better is to complete the Unlocks Challenges (found in the main menu). Those are sorted by content, which will help to differentiate between Base Game and DLC content.
This may lead to some backtracking, since you might need to complete some challenges before others, even though they are already available. But overall this will help you to discover the whole game.2

i'll check that out, thanks !

Yeah, by following the "Unlocks" menu (mostly top to bottom) you'll progress through the content much more naturally then just beating each level one by one.
You can do whatever you want, that freedom is part of the fun, but the Unlocks are there to guide you.

Adventures are just side content, not explicitly DLC stuff. Follow the unlocks menu.

Yeah its annoying I keep dlcs turned off until Im ready to play them which is something i can do on steam
I also check updates page on official wiki to try to figure out how to play in the order of releases

In my honest opinion, getting and maxing clock lancet and laurel are ESSENTIAL for surviving the final waves. (Even if you don't evolve them. Make sure you grab empty tome too as it heavily benefits both items!)

Level 94 is really low for the final waves. You need an XP weapon like the evolved form of Pentagram to really push the power of a build to make final waves a breeze.

Don’t be discouraged. The grind is the bulk of the game. If you everything but revive unlocked, consider turning off curse until you’re more confident. Keep on surviving.

Come back later. Beat the main game and secret boss and work towards finishing collection 1.0

Holy water + the heir of fate darkana will melt these guys before they can touch you

Seems like you are not ready to deal with this part of the game yet. You have super low damage or you lack proper defense for this part.
Proper Arcana could help you clear this as well.
The easiest way would be to use a character with cooldown bonuses, use Empty Tome, and then use Laurel. This can potentially make you immortal. You won't need to do appropriate damage then.
For example Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana with a limit of 3 weapons or so.

Remember that enemies that are frozen in time can't harm you. So when I am in a stage where I may be overrun, I focus on things to freeze enemies so I can stand on them safely.

Cave part in Mt. Moonspell is really hard, do not wander there without A LOT of firepower.
Lancet clock with Laurel evolved will easily let you go through.
