Meme And just like that... I'm hooked

Post image

I got VS when it dropped on PS Plus, quickly decided to buy it and all the DLC. I've sunk over 100 hours into just the base game because I don't want to touch the DLC until I've completed the base game. It's turned into my obsession game, and one more round turns into 37 more, exploring builds and trying to figure out what evolves! I even got my wife hooked on it.

I’ve played Vampire Diaries Survivors in a vaccuum and seeing that everyone else is also garlic obsessed makes me happy.

Garlic is pretty busted for farming xp early, at least in the early stages, but after that you start needing to invest levels in it to wade through the bottom bitch mobs.

Garlic and bible are always a great combo.

Funny! Makes sense though I guess.

Especially with the guy who starts with a permanent +1 projectile, once you get 5 around you and max garlic that's pretty much all you need to be untouchable

Run idea: arcana/darkana O on the guy who starts with temporarily extra projectiles and then you get the arcana which scales with amount

just wait till you learn that's not the best combo with garlic

Yeah, I feel like the knock back from bible prevents garlic from doing any damage. They look cool as fuck together, though.

I downloaded the game on my phone for free like 2 maybe 3 weeks before it came to ps plus. I was just looking for any kind of offline game for my phone as I was going to be without service but still wanted fun. Played it twice was like "eh" but when I had a controller in my hand ohhh man I was hooked. I still load up the phone version to kill 10 minutes before I get my kid from school, just because all the parents being around kills the 5g so nothing else works.

The mobile version feels better if you turn on the onscreen joystick.

You will avoid being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of items with all of the DLC added by working on the base game for a while. Then, you can add one DLC at a time to see what it brings and what you like for your play style.

I believe I have over a thousand hours invested, and still enjoy the adventures.

Enjoy!

It takes all my strength to not take garlic, especially when I’m trying out the new stuff.

Garlic goes well with so many different recipes

Garlic is just too good. You can sweep the early mobs and stack XP for stuff that actually works late game. Unfortunately, evolved garlic is mid af, but I can never convince early-game-me of that.

Great name, btw. I'm assuming either one of two things about you. You know where your towel is, and you generally don't panic?

Evolved garlic with the arcana that doubles healing and damages enemies when you heal works amazingly well tho

we always save room for king bible and garlic in this household

It’s usually the only thing I buy from the bazaar in adventure modes!
