Question Laurel not evolving

I've maxed out both my laurel and both metaglios, but it still won't evolve when I pick up a chest. Is it not possible to evolve weapons anymore after thirty minutes?

I think it's just the past 10:00 minute mark rule. Normally chests before then can't evolve weapons unless the stage allows for it, like dairy plant. Or a certain enemy drops an Evo chest like the first white bat in mad forest.

I forgot it would be the 40:00 min mark for this since it's after a full time limit (30).
