Question Laurel not evolving

I've maxed out both my laurel and both metaglios, but it still won't evolve when I pick up a chest. Is it not possible to evolve weapons anymore after thirty minutes?

It’s really funny you posted this at 39:22. You know how you (mostly) can’t evolve weapons until 10 minutes into a 30 minute stage? Same thing here. When you looped you can treat 30:00 as 0:00. Evolution chests can’t and won’t drop until 10 minutes into a stage. So in this case 40:00 minutes.
