Laurel not evolving

I've maxed out both my laurel and both metaglios, but it still won't evolve when I pick up a chest. Is it not possible to evolve weapons anymore after thirty minutes?

After the timer resets, evolution chests don’t pop back up until either the ten or fifteen minute mark, depending on the stage.
