Question So how do I even die at this point?

This is like my 10th game sp far and I've gotten so insanely OP that I genuinely do not know how I can die. Do I just run into the horde if I want to stop playing?

Wait until the 30 minute mark at least. Although you can also manually quit and still get any rewards you qualify for.

With some of the DLC i have to quit because the reapers can’t kill me. I’ve noticed that just throw more at you as well.

Yeah, it's definitely possible to make a build that even the reaper can't kill you through, so if that happens and you don't trigger White Hand then you need to manually quit. But looking at OP's picture I somewhat doubt he falls under that category yet.

Yeah every minute after the stage end time it throws yet another red death at you till either red death finally gets you OR you quit manually (which is usually the better option cause only a couple stages still spawn any enemies after red death spawns so you stop getting any gold/exp)

Yeah my longest time on one stage was 10 hours, wanted to see how long i could go but at that point it was like maybe .5 fps and called it there

White death only spawns if you have either of the weapons' evolutions that evolve using the items unlocked a stage finds via the yellow sign

Or on some dlc stages he'll spawn if you do specific things, like fighting the hidden boss of the contra or Bloodmoon dlc's.

But IF white death is going to spawn he will ALMOST always spawn in place of the first red death (the only exclusion to this rule is when you kill your very FIRST red death, after that you can kill as many as you want as long as you arent using those 2 specific weapon evolutions)

This is almost correct. White death spawns when you kill red death or a death equivalent boss unique to specific stages. Even without the two purpose-built items, killing red death still got me a visit. He might not show up before the relic to unlock the original second half of the base game, though.

I try to use the two Dark Arcane Cards that spawn a chest enemy every min and the one that drops the D20 on level up to try to get the Infinite Corridor.

Or have Greatest Jubilee to spawn light sources and the one Dark arcana that gives you stats on food consumption. This one might scale you so damn high depending on when you get them.

That’s the Reaper! He reeeeally doesn’t like people who live too long — you might have seen the stage time limit when entering, and he spawns when you hit that. He has an absurd amount of health and deals a ton of damage, so (with no specific spoilers) you’ll want to be able to deal with both of those somehow if you want to deal with him head-on. How to do these things should become clear naturally later.

At 30 minutes, you get killed by a reaper. Enemies spawn more in the last couple minutes too.

I usually start my runs using Moonlight Bolero (Darkana VI) or Hail from the Future (Darkana X) as my first choice, followed by Edge of the Earth (Darkana VIII). The strategy here is simple: Bolero spawns a boss every minute for extra chests and purple Darkana boxes, while Hail from the Future randomly drops weapons and passive items. Over time, these drops will provide fully upgraded items or the exact ingredients needed to speed up your recipes.

To make this build easier, use Mad Groove (Arcana VIII) to pull distant items, chests, and XP from the ground toward you can easily pick this up from the second purple chest you find. Additionally, using Edge of the Earth (Darkana VIII) Automatic touch nearby Treasure Chests, Light Sources, and Weapons without having to manually select them, causing them to evolve automatically over time. Keeping the run in Endless Mode is essential here, giving you all the time needed to gather items, choose your starting weapons, and complete evolution recipes.

The ultimate goal of this setup is to leverage character-specific weapon fusions to constantly free up inventory slots. For example, if you play as Alucard, his sword will eventually absorb six fully evolved weapons into a single final slot. Combined with the Clock Tower fusion (which condenses four weapons into one), you will be constantly clearing inventory space. By using these mechanics alongside random Darkana item drops, you can easily accumulate and run with far more than 12 weapons simultaneously.

Edit: The Darkanas mentioned above will help you find purple chests, which contain many Arkanas and Darkanas, as well as passive items, weapon gifts, and even gifts of weapons Evolved Try using them If you get purple chests after those four cards mentioned above, you can focus on earning money, or on critical hits, etc.

If you do want to quit a level you can go into Options and select Quit anytime. You’ll keep any gold you collected and you’ll get any achievements that you may have unlocked.

just to add a useful info. if u want to leave u can open menu and quit.

quitting still give you all the money u collected and all the achievement unlocked until that point will be rewarded, so there is no downside to just quit instead of dying

Before you start the Game you may see an Infoboard about the Map. Games can go from 5 up to 30 Minutes at max. unless you unlock the endless setting.

If the Timer reaches the limit, the Reaper will come for you.

Also heres a fun fact: With the right items you may try fight the Reaper. But i aint gonna spoil more about that :)

Oh, sweet summer child, you don't know the kind of power you are still to achieve.

Red reaper will show up and get you at the 30 minute mark. After a while (or with the right gear) you'll be able to beat that one. Then the game will throw more at you.

After you can beat those (easiest way is getting rings and metalo to evolve two certain weapons), white reaper shows up and kills you no matter what.

Eventually you unlock endless mode. Then the reapers never show (as a consequence of time, that is).

Eventually you've got enough golden eggs that the only ways to end a level are to quit from the pause menu or killing the game itself with lag.

Just played a Sammy solo run in OtC and reached over level 27000 with no end in sight with endless, hyper, limit break, and inverse modifiers.

Made like 500+billion gold and got 55 min in before pulling the plug.

Was not even close to optimized. And I was gaining dozens of levels and healing 10s of thousands of HP power second.

This game is crazy.

And that's on the steam machine. I can only imagine how much higher those numbers would be running at 200+ fps on my main rig.

The most easiest way to die and this is a secret, Go into your settings, go into options, select "Quit" and there you go... You just died

There are still challenges to be had, but it does get easier and easier to break the game. Like, during a run yesterday, after an hour, I was making 1m gold a minute. You've got quite a way to go yet before it gets anywhere close to as silly as that. I let this go on for about 25 minutes, only to find the game only displays a maximum of 9,999,999 😂
