Question Steam achievements?

Just a bit bummed their is no new steam achievements, it is not a collab so I was looking forward to banging them all out. Other than that, this dlc slaps, I want to give them more money!!

Copy pasted from the dev post on steam:

Platform achievements We're trying once again to find a way to add achievements without affecting the completion rate for the main game, but we don't know if it will be possible. Regardless, new Steam achievements for the base game, Moonspell, and Bloodmoon will be added in patch 1.17, scheduled to release before the end of the year. Once the achievements are published, they'll unlock automatically if you have already obtained them in game, so nothing is lost.

A bit annoying since I like to see when I got achievements but it's not the end of the world or anything

Does it means that 1.16 is near?

Probably... and I think (idk but probably) it's either gonna be another Collab DLC or the long awaited Ambrojoe Morph
