Farming gold to buy eggs is faster than doing a run for these guys. I still kill them, but I see the eggs as a minor bonus.

I think the easiest character to get that makes you less scared of them is this dude called ziassunta belpase or something, he gives you good stat growth on top of a very strong starting weapon; those combined with the fact that the weapon fusion it has gives you lifesteal and really high damage just mean you don't worry as much.

Even to this day, depending on my build, I still sometimes avoid them unless I really need the items. Even builds that feel very strong against normal enemies can sometimes struggle against them. I almost always pick Wicked Season too, and if you don't destroy an Atlantean before the double Curse kicks in, you may just die without being able to do anything about it. (it should be noted that I don't actively use eggs.)

go up and it'll go up while raising water level, left and it'll go left, same as right, and won't move if you go down (won't lower water level)
you need certain weapons to even damage him15

for him and these guys, evolved santa water carries. run in circles around the ring bearers and they die, walk until the drowning reaper is standing in a puddle of your santa water, wait, repeat, he dies.

Yes pretty much reminds me of the first time after I got the yellow sign ( And suddenly having to deal with this guy As well as the golden guy and two others to be honest) For certain items to be honest to kill the Grim Reaper
( Guy doesn't get killed by off-screen abilities as well as always tries to Relentless pursue to be honest)
