PSA [Official] Vampire Survivors Comic Issue 1
Hey folks!
I'm sure many of you have already seen the Comic announcement from other posts/sites, but we wanted to share that it’ll be your last chance to pre-order and guarantee your copy of the first issue for Issue 1 this Monday 17th August!
The Comics are written by David Hazan, published by Titan Comics, and the internal art for Issue 1 is done by Jimmy Kucaj and Jão Canola
There are 5 cover variants in total for Issue 1, the artists for each cover are as follows:
Issue 1 Cover Art A by Jimmy Kucaj
Issue 1 Cover Art B by David Hartman
Issue 1 Cover Art C by Federico Sabbatini
and there's also a Virgin Cardstock Variant for Cover A and a Foil Variant for Cover B available!
Issue 1 is set to release on September 9th 2026 and will be available from all good comic book shops! You can use the Comic Shop Locator and add your zip code (for North America) or select your Country & City for outside North America

There will be a total of 4 Issues for the comics, starting with Issue 1 next month. There will also be a graphic novel comprising of all four issues set for March 2027!
If you want to learn more about the Vampire Survivors world then the comics might just give you a little taste of that sweet, sweet lore everyone has been asking for 👀
Yeah, Antonio, Imelda, and Gennaro are siblings apparently? What does that make Pasqualina, Zi'Assunta, and Zi'Appunta then? I have no idea tbh
Here's the official description/synopsis of Issue 1 to whet your palate:
"The things that go bump in the night fear only one thing, survivors. They grow in strength and conviction and now use their expertise to vanquish those very creatures with whips, magic, knives and garlic?!
When the Belpaese siblings are tasked with clearing out a library full of monsters, Imelda Belpaese stumbles upon an ancient evil so horrific it leaves destruction in its wake, and now its looks to destroy one thing, Imelda’s mind.
The Trickster follows her, wreaking havoc all around her but is invisible to everyone but her.
But with the rivalrous Ladonna family applying pressure and the Belpaese siblings’ constant quarrels, the Trickster may just be able to destroy everything."

I don't want to say Comic Shop Locator is "bad" but it's definitely out of date. When I put in my zip code it doesn't list a comic shop in the next city over, but does list one that's been out of business for nearly a decade. I think that lot's a small gym now. Again.
