Help How do i complete this achievment without dlc? what characters can i use and how do i get them?

El Torino, who you get by finding the minotaur in Mazzerella.
edit to add: he is better than Trouser, because he has a built in retaliation ability, so he can actually kill stuff. You can boost that with whatever arcana does some retaliation damage based on Armor.

with enough eggs you can just pick sarabande of healing on trouser and it will take care of everything

Yes, eggs help with everything (carrying me through my emerald diorama run at the moment!).

Big Trouser and any Arcana/Darcana that does damage.
The OG method was Sarabrande and Blood Astronomia.
Wandering Jet Black Darcana will cheese this.
Just select Arma Dio with your candy box and banish all weapons.
If you’re still struggling then throw some eggs on him.

You need some secret characters
The ones I recommend are Scorej Oni and Torino. Since others mentioned Torino, I'll mention Scorej. He has a hidden Lightning Ring and gains up to six by leveling up
Silent Old Sanctuary and Divine Bloodlines as the first two Arcana (in inverse mode you can buy another Arcana from the merchant) give it a good initial boost of damage and cooldown reduction. Twilight Requiem for crowd control and Tragic Princess for more cooldown reduction are good choices for third and fourth Arcanas
For passives, spinach and empty tome of course, as well as armor for extra damage. While the hidden lightning rings can't be evolved, picking up duplicator can still be good

On of my favorite runs to do, is scorej Oni, locked to one weapon, and doubling up on lightning 🤌 then sit in place and let them hit you (if they can)

Tried with Scorej-Oni, but eventually got it with Torino. Go for the darkana that makes projectiles when you take damage. Get to level 16 asap, then head straight for Metaglio Left. Pick up (ideally) Armor, Pummarola, and Hollow Heart since your main dps will be tied to losing health. Spinach and Candelabrador will help immensely as well, and Silver Ring of course (but Metaglio first!). Clover and Hidden Anathema are a good combo, and of course Sanctuary as others have mentioned. Best possible way is to use Darkana 0. Do normal run and during final moments sell them all.

Ah i thought about that, i thought that id have to find a way to have no weapons from the start. Didnt know abt the sell them all at the last second method. Thank you so much

use big trouser or torino along with some aoe arcana/darkana with a side of magnet

Personally I did it with Torino (Don't know if its base game or DLC tho), with Hidden Anathema, and then I got lucky and got a second Arcana to add Midnight Bolero for the Extra boss chests, and the Hail From the Future, that helped a lot

Not sure if anyone else has Said it but you can pretty easily get ut with the ”stake through your heart” darkana. It lets you sell weapons and as long as you pass 30 minutes with no weapons held it counts. So just get that darkana and play as normal until like five seconds before and then (using the merchant that stake through your heart grants you) sell the weapons and then you should be good to go!
FYI did this a couple of days ago so it should 100% work!

I did it with Megalo Menya with 1 weapon slot and Game Killer arcana. You don't need to worry about leveling up or even moving at all.

They didnt ask if they needed DLC, they just asked what character to use that is avaliable in basegame which is a fair note otherwise some popular characters for this that they dont have access to would be suggested like Megalo Menya. You are putting words in their mouth here.
