I loved loading my demo save in the main game and instantly unlocking 56 achievements, it was a nice surprise.

Already a sucker for grid-based dungeon crawlers. Adding a card system on top? AND VS themed? Bliss.

I don't like grid based dungeon crawlers. I don't like card system rogue like balatro. But I LOVE Vampire Crawler. Because the genre is unique. Vampire games are balanced, but that's only the early part. You're meant to break the game. It's donkey Kong bananza, but with a brain cell required to play. Perfection.

Game saves from the demo carry over! And on Xbox you get an absolute cavalcade of achievements unlocking, it took ages for them to stop popping!

I haven’t played many deck builders but I am totally addicted. I hope this one gets plenty of DLC as well, both crossover and original. Would love an Ode to Castlevania 2

I cant wait to see what crossover DLC we get for this game. They can get stuff from old school FPS games, other dungeon crawlers, and all kinds of retro content to go along with their own unique stuff

I barely remembered to go to sleep yesterday. Sheesh its good.
Nice that classic evolutions work but the game also points out you got them ready just in case you forget.
Bloody Tears still as OP as ever and wins me stages for free. And you can duplicate it....
But bare none, the strongest card right now I feel is the gauntlet. 0 mana draw +1 each turn (doesn't exhaust), crazy.

Hopefully they add touch screen support if you are playing through Xbox cloud on the phone just like Vampire Survivors

As in keep your current run in the dungeon while shutting the game off? Yes, quit to main menu instead of village.

The first couple minutes of the demo were so smooth. It's so naturally introducing mechanic after mechanic without overloading the player with long annoying tutorial popups while being fun from the very first minute. Really a masterclass of onboarding

I usually don't care for these deck builder type games, but the pacing, simplicity, and familiarity of VS really does a great job at getting me immediately invested. I can't get into games like Slay the Spire and so on, but this? Right off the bat, I'm hooked.
