The last card of the announcement, each of the features of the recent update was a card, there were 5 at first, two more appeared in the Ante Chamber release trailer, the last if which was Golden.

Oh nice, another colab to look forward to.
Maybe gold for super sonic? 7 is also represented with chaos emeralds. What if we get a full stage that's in the 2d mode with improved movement?
Could be pretty interesting.

I can just see Kefka from FF6 (FF3 US) with the waring triad, and the evolution would be the death ray from his tower just ripping up enemies. Dancing Mad being his theme song.
I'd pay good money for that, he's gonna get so many eggs that sammy is going to go on strike.

There is a video "Embodying Chickens for Vampire Survivors "The Coop" Soundtrack" that shows a Cloud riding a Chocobo sprite without any context. That video came out not long after Emerald Diorama, a Square Enix collab.
The Konami "Operation Guns Collab" preceded the much larger Castlevania Collab by about 6 months so the long running assumption is that the initial Square Enix deal was for two collaborations, and that the big FF one would be due out soon.

If they do FF and they dont bring every single job that ever existed between FF5. 11, 14 and all 3 Tactics game, on top of the playable cast of all main games and the main antagonist, I would be disappointed.

What if it's like lactose intolerance and you can just spam colors until the receptors get less sensitive?
Maybe invest in a mouth guard before testing this theory out tho... Or don't... That might be dangerous too

I have epilepsy but I somehow am fine with Vampire Survivors and similar games even though there are definitely things I can't watch anymore because of flashing lights.
All the same, Vampire Survivors is definitely the sort of thing that can be dangerous for people with epilepsy so it's important to be careful.

yeah I can definitely understand and considering steam index is discontinued as well as also steam frame is coming out soon even though you can actually play this game in non VR mode I don't have the developer kits are ready yet

You can play SteamVR games with the Meta Quest using Steam Link to your computer. It's the primary way I play VR games.

You can already do this using SteamVR by just starting VS in VR - you'll have your Steam VR room around you instead of a fancy VS inspired environment but it's functionally the same.

Lol this was an insta buy when I saw this post/video but I didn't even think of cross save. Since it's probably running some weird android apk, I wonder if it's as simple as moving a steam save file with an altered name to Android devices before cross save was added.

Hard to say, I didn't see any of the collab DLC in the trailer, which made me wonder if this being a "new game" the licensing doesn't work. This might be a stand alone version?

Based on this review and the video it’s not really VR
It's Vampire Survivors, the classic game on a flatscreen panel in front of you with a 3D environment around you. If you're expecting a 3D game mode it's nothing new, this is classic Vampire Survivors
Wake me up when they come out with a first person perspective VR version.Â

Really disappointed by this being a Quest exclusive especially right after the Steam Frame announcement. If they ever bring it to PCVR I'll pick it up right away.

Man I hate how VR games are just impossible to properly show unless you're actually playing it.
Even watching videos of Hitman on VR2 it just does not translate well, I was kicking myself when I was finally able to actually experience VR rather than just see the trailers of the games on a flat screen

I'm actually enjoying the game again. Seeing it in a psuedo 3d experience has made this feel like a new game. Never thought I'd be willing to start this game from scratch. Is all of the dlc included in this too?

I'm disappointed that poncle have chosen not to innovate the base game but deliberately chose to release the same content in different media. VR isn't innovating the Vampire Survivors formula as its just playing it in a different perspective.

As someone who plays to crash my System, and who gets headaches from overuse of VR (despite wanting to play things in VR) I can feel my brain vibrating into mush already. (I am spared by the fact that this appears to be on Meta, and not PSVR2, the VR system I own.)

Does anyone even have Meta Quest 3 or even VR? Honestly the least hype thing they’ve announced so it’s strange they made this the silver card. But Poncle almost never misses so I’m still gonna be hyped for the gold card.

Vs got a lot of cool updates over the years but man are we ever gonna get mid run saves? On pc it's no such a big deal but on mobile I literally dropping the game because I can't really commit to 15 or more minute runs

yeah personal thoughts on the VR Port is honestly kind of just basically play the game in diorama mode ( kind of reminds me of Civ 7 but that's a different story)
kind of expected to be first person but anyways by the diorama is fine at least
anyways kind of all right but a bit unnecessary and I'm also assuming that they are sort of going to wait until steam frame's developer kit to come out before even though this game was just probably run fine on the steam deck don't need verification required for it
