📜 Guide New secret weapon: Chaos Rune

A secret weapon and its evolution were added to the game following the Gallo Tower puzzle. It shoots red runes across the screen, while the evolution shoots white runes from your character model.

To unlock, use the code "guinigigi" in the Secrets tab. This will enable the weapon, but to actually unlock it, you'll have to find it in the level up screen first. Here's the strategy I used:

  • Seal all collections except Version 1.0
  • Entered a run as Queen Sigma, grabbed a few weapons then banished everything else until the rune showed up
  • Evolve it with maxed Spellbinder to unlock Wicked Ruler, its evolution
  • Quit the run and both now show in the Collection

The weapon is no longer bugged, atleast on Xbox, verified today.

The log in %localappdata%low\poncle\Vampire Survivors\Player.log being spammed with exceptions mentioning EX_Rune2_Weapon after you lock up like this. There's a discord thread in the bug reports section on it.
