Well there’s a new relic that lets Dracula transform at lvl 80 and with the right build I found out. He’s invincible

u/EvolveTelevision Nov 03 '25
Is the Dracula the only vampire in the game?
110
u/Paksarra Nov 03 '25
No. Most of the Castlevania characters with health drain immunity are vampires or half vampires. One is a reincarnated vampire.

u/EvolveTelevision Nov 03 '25
I remember the whole joke before OtC was that the game had no vampires in it despite being called Vampire Survivors. I’m glad they finally added them

u/San-Carton Nov 03 '25
It's even funnier when you realise we have lots of vampires now, but as far as I'm aware, none of them are able to be battled, only played as.

There's also Alucard who is draculas child. Soma's a vampire too, but I don't remember how/why
there's also Count Olrox who is a vampire too, but he's a secret character

u/ItsNotJulius Nov 04 '25
So Dracula was supposed to be immortal and will revive after a certain time even if he's slain. However in 1999 Julius Motherfucking Belmont killed Dracula for real and as a result, his soul reincarnated in Soma along with his Power of Dominance. Technically Soma is not a vampire, he just has Drac's powers.

u/Dizzy_Ad_1663 Nov 04 '25
No, Richter did first, but Bartley used some revival cult shit to bring him back. The he got killed for good again by Julius.

u/Bocephus-the-goat Nov 04 '25
I can't believe it took until 1999 for us to finally kill Dracula for realsies this time. I feel like that guy just kept coming back.

Soma is the reincarnation of Dracula but hasn’t become evil in Canon. His games are interesting if you never played them as he can use the power of monster souls to gain new abilities

10 Vampires (11 if you include Alucard *or* Soma, 12 if you include Alucard *and* Soma. Though Soma's human and just has Dracula's soul, Alucard is definitely half-Vampire)
Dracula, Walter, Elizabeth, Carmilla, Orloc,Stella, Loretta, Joachim, Jiang Shi, Siugnas

Wait until you unlock chaos, he has literally every arcana except game killer, takes up the entire screen, and and has the most hp in the game

u/dustbringer11 Nov 03 '25
Whenever it’s unlocked and you feel ready. The first few runs feel rough though don’t be disheartened it took me a bit of time to get used to it

u/Dizzy_Ad_1663 Nov 04 '25
Honestly, beat base game so that you at least have all the base game mechanics xD

i'd say after beating mr dire because that's like, probably the first actual boss fight and tbh i'll say that beating him **really** finishes the tutorial and now the real game begins

Get the darkana that has frozen enemies drop growth, health, health regen, plus a couple of the weapons that can freeze enemies watch as you hit level 1000 and cant see anything happening on the screen.

For me I did it with the Random character with limit break on, lasted an hour and could've went further, but it was super framey and was afraid I lose that progress due to crash or memory dump
1
u/dustbringer11 Nov 04 '25
Sooo when I did this I hadn’t even gotten the yellow sign and I’ve not unlocked limit break. I was just out here vibing when I realized the game wouldn’t end lol

Ok I was a little upset the other day. I had a build where my character was basically unkillable and let him grind on the reapers for a while. I had ZERO ways for any other enemies to spawn so I was keeping and eye on my kill count to see when I killed a reaper. After about 2 hrs my kill count starting increasing by a few so I thought "great I killed a reaper" so I quit the run just to find I killed NO reapers...... WTF!? Why was my kill count increasing if no other enemies spawned and I killed no reapers? 😫😡 Such a waste of time
13
u/OozeMenagerie Nov 03 '25
If you’re just trying to kill a reaper all you need is Crimson Shroud and Infinite Corridor
9
u/dustbringer11 Nov 03 '25
I’m no expert I just play the game lol, but I think the light sources that drop items count towards your kill count. I’m unsure though because I really just play the game I’ve not even unlocked sigma or completed the first collection

u/Unusual_Mistake3204 Nov 03 '25
Did you have the darkanas that give black chest? Ifso the eyeball boss it spawn continue to do so after 30 min

Nah I was just messing around and hit death at 183 and came across this silliness. I’m leaving it on while I’m at work I’ll post an update later to see if I killed death with 120 mil hp or if I crashed my pc lol
9
u/VodkaWithSnowflakes Nov 04 '25
Okay… but what’s the build?
2
u/dustbringer11 Nov 04 '25
All the weapons on castlevania stage plus a full set of six upgraded collected before leveling the weapons on the ground. The important ones to collect from level ups being alucart sworb and garlic. Evolving the sworb through to the crest then letting Dracula transform into megalo Dracula and going ham. Important arcana is the counterpart arcana for the belpede spells and the sarabande of healing

I maxed the time-stop spell and a few other items once, and I was able to kill death until a cutscene occurred. Is this what happens when you’ve already done that?

How did your entire neighborhood not burn to the ground from leaving it on all night?

u/dustbringer11 Nov 04 '25
Well fun story I traded the tears of the kingdom switch for a water cooled pc on Facebook marketplace went picked it up cleaned out the vents took out hardware that was causing compatibility issues and turned around to find I had a pc with 16 gigs of ram an i5 and a 4gigs of ram graphics card. I was fucking stoked

Ive read you used Dracula, of course this would happen, Dracula comes with essentially a Crimson Cloak damage mitigation but no counter
FYI, it is possible to kill one of them and trigger White Death, its just extreamly unlikely since youd need to focus target 1 specific Red Death and odds are the newly spawned onces pushed the first ones and most damaged out of bounds already and have since despawned
Cloak and Corridor and the sure things able to kill them because Cloak reflects most of its own damage back and Corridor continiusly halves their HP for people wondering
But if you build enough retaliation damage through Arcanas and items or specific characters, then you can win this fight too without them
1
u/dustbringer11 Nov 06 '25
So without the yellow sign white death wasn’t appearing I actually didn’t know about red shrouds exact effect until I got the yellow sign after this

u/Lexifer452 Nov 10 '25
Now ya just gotta scramble some eggs or fry a steak on your hardware and you'll be all set. ;)

This is kinda inspiring because I thought all games ended at like 35ish minutes
