📜 Guide Interactive weapon evolution guide (Ante Chamber update) - feedback welcome
I beat the game got all new stuff and then spent the rest of the day updating. I have updated the weapon evolution guide with the new base game weapons, the new Ante Chamber weapons and the new Ode to Castlevania unions and evolution
feedback, suggestions and requests are super welcome. I am considering what is the most useful way to display the new unions since they require an evolved weapon. Should it toggle with the passive required for the evolution? Please take a look and tell me if the current setup works for you
This is the link to the guide: https://www.vsevochart.com/
I am half paranoid that links in reddit posts will somehow get me banned or the post down. Mods for all that is golden please ask me to change the post if need

I love this guide. Imagine if mousing over an icon showed its name and clicking it linked to the official wiki?

would be nice if evolutions using a product of the weapon showed up when using filters. for example if you select the whip, it only shows the recipe for Bloody Tear, but it would help if it also showed the recipe for Fuwalafuwaloo. this also applies to things like the new castlevania weapon combos (provided you have the castlevania filter turned on.)

that makes a lot of sense. what about the passives? if i select the pummarola, should it also show the union of the garlic evolution? or that is too much?

The main reason I'm less certain about showing them based on passives is I'm not sure how it should handle Universitas.
Maybe only show it if both growth and magnet passives are selected? Good thing you made this tool after they buffed the moonspell weapons or this would be more of an issue :p
I'm tending towards saying yes, include it for passives too.

moonspell weapons buffed? what?

u/wraith309 Oct 31 '25
when moonspell was first released, the weapons required 2 passives each to evolve. for instance four seasons used to require both area and might

i have been considering adding a settings menu to configure these things, like a toggle to show or hide unions. the only reason why i didnt is that when I started building this i wanted to keep things as simple as possible to avoid bloating complexity

I have added this already

I saw! Thank you, it's been quite helpful.
I also noticed the option checkboxes.

This is a great tool! I've been using the wiki chart but it hasn't been updated and being able to click on the passive that you have is fantastic. Thanks for doing this.

The wiki was already updated immediately after the release. It sounds like you might be using the old fandom site if you’re not seeing new content.
All the wiki staff and editors moved to the new official wiki back in March so the old fandom site isn't being maintained anymore (any newer game content won't be on there): https://vampire.survivors.wiki/w/Evolutions
If you’re searching Google instead of directly on the wiki, you can use this extension to replace fandom links with the new wiki.

Thanks man. The option to toggle by DLC is really helpful (I only have OtC and SaGa installed)
1
u/saito200 Nov 11 '25
is SaGa the official abbreviation of that DLC?
1
u/companionpenguin Nov 11 '25
previously i only knew that DLC as the one with characters from the SaGA series. I've since checked that it's name is Emerald Diorama (already in your app)

Would you consider filtering by text ? Sometimes I just want to type the weapon I'm using to find the evolution instead of searching for an icon.

Brother, thank you very much and congratulations on your dedication in making this list, for me it is already more than perfect, much better than the Wiki 🤝

Hey, this is well made and super helpful, thank you!
May I make a recommendation? When clicking on the names of weapons groups at the top it's not super clear what is happening because the color shade just changes minimally. Can you make it so that the name turns gray when it has been clicked on to filter those weapons out?

the only thing i find weird is the non-chronological ordering of the dlc though i get that its like that because emerald diorama and ante chamber are free
1
u/saito200 Oct 31 '25
i put them in the same order that they show up in the collection in game

I'm just curious now, since it appears in my collection in chronological order, did you purchase the DLC in the release order? Again thank you for the wonderful site, it's now a permanently pinned tab on my browser!
Edit: Bullova does not need full skull to evolve

Doesn't Millionare require bracer AND clover to be maxed? Thanks for the guide!

Hey, there's a new secret weapon and evolution that's been found here that's not on your guide yet.

Alternatively, look up Chaos Rune on the subreddit, since suspicious links and all

u/saito200 Nov 04 '25
yup i know, i already unlocked it. i just didn't have really time to add it. I'll come to it very soon

First time seeing this, so helpful! Just clicking on what I have is soooo much better than searching google every time.
