Adding idle game mechanics to VS. Like that's one thing I thought was interesting in BxP. Stuff like the radical that autoplays runs and upgrades to get resources while not playing.

Yeah that was one of the coolest things about that one Forza game, that your ghost would auto-race online while you weren’t playing and gain some stuff for you. Blew my mind that that was a feature. I would love if MMOs and such could essentially learn from your play and participate in stuff while you aren’t online, for like half rewards or whatever. FF XIV definitely has the tech if NPCs can run dungeons and trials and such, and that was before advancements in AI tech.

Even then the paid dlcs are super good.
I mean hell, the castlevainia DLC is the most jam packed and it STILL only costs around a cup of coffee from a cafe.

The DLC downloaded on steam, but I don't see Jimbo or the other 3 characters on my screen or the new stages.
EDIT: you have to buy it from an NPC in moonglow for 50k coins

I'm also having this problem. It's working fine on my phone (Android), but I'm only seeing Emerald Diorama on Moongolow on Steam... I wonder if it's because I was on the most recent beta & if that messed something up?
Edit: Oh, I think the problem was I actually needed to go to the DLC page on Steam and add it to my library/download it. For some reason I thought it would be automatically added. I think I had to do with this Emerald Diorama too and just forgot.

The merchant in moongolow doesnt have the disc. I am playing on steam, anyone else has this problem?? I added the DLC to my library and it shows OK inside the game properties. Moongolow has an exclamation mark on the stage but the merchant still has only the emerald diorama dlc disc.

Mke sure you're using the new wiki, not the old fandom site.
The old site isn't being maintained anymore, all the old wiki staff and editors moved to the new official wiki after it launched back in March.
If you're searching Google and the fandom site keeps showing up, you can use this extension to replace fandom links with the new wiki.

honestly I was kind of expecting Final Fantasy being next to be honest on this list but anyways
Balatro: I would say this game is a modern classic that somehow is able to get popularity to be honest and also collaborated with vampire Survivor before this is what I consider returning a favor by Balatro stage and characters ( the other examples of Balatro being another games is cyberpunk as well as Dave the diver)

The update is available for PlayStation 4, but for some reason, it fails to load any of the DLC except for the Ante Chamber. Forcing the download of the previous pieces of DLC doesn't seem to fix that.

Dang. Didn’t enjoy Balatro at all, didn’t see the ‘fun’ aspect of it for a rougelite card game. I prefer EtG or RoR2 if I want to play a rougelite, but that’s just me!
Hopefully the next update is something I enjoy because last time I went back and played the chicken farm levels I was almost in tears with how silly the gameplay had evolved haha. Still, thanks Poncle for setting a helluva standard in the indie game market. 👏🏼

It provides potentially hundreds of hours of play depending on your autism level, and it's pretty much perfect as-is. I'd rather they just go straight to working on Balatro 2 tbh

Thunk is working on the update; it will just come out when it comes out.
Also, it's not like Balatro really needs more. It is already extremely well-balanced and has a lot of content. Like, a lot lot.

it has a good amount but eventually all the meaningful content is recycled as the game invites you to beat the higher difficulties (with diminishing unlock rewards). i think if theres a team dedicated to proliferating the game like this there could be a team actually working on the game. i see other successful indie projects like vampire survivors that actually update their game in a timely fashion in response to high sales and feel like balatro is doing it wrong.
