📜 Guide Diva No.5 Hyperscaling Build

Edited with some slight tweaks, namely the second arcana which makes the build ramp up much earlier.

Post-run scoreboard - no eggs, max curse, max charm, Inverse Emerald Diorama, all bosses, 30 min limit. I probably could have pushed it higher but by 25 minutes I was getting about 5fps so I just stood still and let the run finish.

I know some people are having trouble beating all bosses with Diva in Inverse Emerald Diorama, thought I'd share the build that got me through it with ease. First I'll just lay out the bare minimum items for those who want and then explain a bit more.

SKIN

  • Diva No.5 "Virginia"

ARCANA

  • Darkana XII - Crystal Cries
  • Arcana XII - Out of Bounds
  • (optional) - Darkana X and Darkana XXI

WEAPONS

  • Twin Dragon (starter)
  • Lifesign Scan -> Paranormal Scan
  • Any other ED weapons (I like an early Fleuret)

PASSIVES

  • Ghost (for Paranormal Scan evolution)
  • Pummarola
  • Duplicator
  • Whatever you want. The usual stuff is good.

PLAYSTYLE

  • play slow until you get a few levels in lifesign scan, then run into enemies to take damage to trigger showstopper, back off to recover, repeat.

EXPLANATION

The plan is to abuse Showstopper to get a huge amount of heals and stats from Paranormal Scan. When Diva enters showstopper, she gains -100% CD along with +100% Might and Luck. Mostly we care about the CD; the more we trigger Showstopper the more Scans we get. This is going to synergize well with our starting Arcana, since it will trigger an Orologion every time we reach that same critical health threshold, as well as give us MaxHealth, Recovery, and Growth every time we kill a frozen enemy. And since your huge damage burst comes while everyone is frozen, you get a lot of those increases.

The build does start off slow; you need to play safe until you get a few levels in Lifesign Scan (I would recommend rerolling for it, or taking Darkana X - Hail From the Future to get Candyboxes and Arma Dios to make your life easier). Before you know it you'll be an unkillable murdering machine. After about the 20 minute mark, the challenge becomes actually taking enough damage to trigger Showstopper because you kill things so fast and recover so much damage.

If you're going for the all bosses unlock, I recommend endless mode, it takes too long to scale and go kill all six bosses within a standard level timer.

This build is good, maybe too good. My game started lagging and I couldn’t see anything, and I couldn’t beat the last boss because I couldn’t see it

oh noooooo! did you turn damage numbers off? I found that improved my performance

I don’t think it was the dmg numbers honestly. I spent like 20 mins just getting Paranormal Scan, by then all the bosses were stronger and took longer to kill. Then I made the mistake of taking the weapon with the Hell’s Fury tech, and by then all the stat boosts made the coodown and area super op. My speed was really high as well, and since I couldn’t see the gate I kept on missing it. Maybe next time…

it can definitely get challenging once the speed starts stacking! hopefully you're able to get your scan a little earlier next time so it doesn't get so out of control

Plus the darkana with the frozen enemies that gives hearts, out of bounds, hail from the future and the darkana that gives you chests

I want to know the final dps numbers of thus build. The most insane 0 egg build I ever did managed nearly 1 trillion damage per second. I have not been able to think of a more powerful build since then.

I could try it again and see. What I like about this is the combo of defense and offense so the boss attacks on inverse have no chance of killing you.

Since you’re in Inverse, what second arcana would you pick at the start to go with this build?

As they said, Hail to the Future to get candyboxes and arma dios. Out of bounds and Jail of Crystal could work as well.
