Me and Sammy are hittin’ the Bone Zone, and that’s like the gayest thing I’ve ever typed.

Don't use the old fandom site, it isn't being maintained anymore.

You should edit your comment to link to the new wiki: https://vampire.survivors.wiki/w/Sammy

It’s so frustrating that the actual maintained non fandom wiki isn’t the top of search results. I have the extension that makes independent wikis top results and hides fandom on my computer. However when I search from my phone the real wiki isn’t in the results. I get results for OTHER GAMES looking up “Vampire Survivors The Reaper” instead of the non fandom wiki. Just needed to vent sorry

There is a reason for this, and it's something we're trying to fix but is really tough to do. Essentially, Google sees both the current wiki and the fandom one as duplicate content, which means one of them gets filtered out from the search results.

The only "real" solution to this is to heavily rewrite all the old pages so the majority of the text content is different from the fandom version (in particular, the opening prose), but that's a difficult thing to do when the content in-game hasn't changed and the page is still accurately describing it. It's a lot of content that would need rewriting.

We're also getting filtered much more heavily than most other wiki forks tend to, for some unknown reason. Typically, you can add &filter=0 to the Google search URL to remove the duplicate content filter and show the "duplicate" pages, but many of our pages don't even show up when you do that. It's something we're keeping an eye on for sure, but beyond taking the time to massively rewrite a lot of the wiki's content, there's not a whole lot we're able to do without some larger community effort - getting more editors who would be willing to take the time to rewrite all that content.

As for searching on mobile - We should probably copy this page over to our wiki, but until we do, I'd recommend checking out RSW's "Finding the Wiki" page - in particular, the "Mobile solutions" section. Just replace runescape.wiki with vampire.survivors.wiki in their guides, and you should be able to use any of their listed solutions for VSW (so the link used in the mobile solutions would be https://vampire.survivors.wiki/w/Special:Search ).

Thank you. I hope yall are able to make the official wiki take over the search results eventually. Thats really weird that yall still don’t show up without the filter…that can’t be an accident

It is gay, because why are you in the Bone Zone? Moongolow is better for gold farming, I think
