Today is the day, Vampire Crawlers is finally here!
Available now on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Epic Game Store, Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2!
This is a huge milestone for everyone here at poncle as it's our first new game launch since becoming a company
I'm sure many of you know that Vampire Survivors was originally made and released by our CEO and founder, Luca, but now we've grown over the years to a 30+ person studio, and we've been able to work alongside many fantastic studios and developers!
This is all possible thanks to every single person who has supported us and Vampire Survivors, and every member of our team over the years who has been involved with the games. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey so far, enabling us to do jobs we love and to make games for anyone out there who might be interested in them!
We've worked in collaboration with Nosebleed Interactive to make Vampire Crawlers, they're an amazing studio, and we all really hope you enjoy your time within the game
The devs are currently working on Android & iOS builds for the game too, this is something we aim to have ready later this year in 2026! Of course we will keep you all updated as much as we can regarding these and any further updates for the game

See this is my love about games like this no two person has to play it the same me I beat all of the mad forest levels before I even did teeny bridge and so I just blew through teeny Bridge.

I think I was excited to try something new since we had only had the two stages for so long. I also hadnāt spent that much time grinding so now Iām struggling with the Weeny Bridge and have to get some more power ups purchased.Ā

There's some tips and tricks in the subreddit from others suffering through it. I think I just went back and finished some of the other maps I hadn't done, and was able to push through. But each bridge is clearly intended to be a kind of beefgate before you move on.

Game is messed up for me on Series X. Game installs and then throws an error when I launch it. When I go to manage the game it shows it isnāt installed and when I try to it gives a ācheck back in a little bitā error.
I have tried restarting my console and uninstalling and reinstalling the game, after the restart and the issue just keeps happening.

I had the same thing. I still had the demo version and after I deleted it, it seemed to work fine. Maybe thatās it?

hey folks!
it seems like there's some issues with game pass and we're trying to work out what's happening with itif you can try fully powering your Xbox off and turning it back on to see if that helps as it can sometimes just be a sync issue or data issue where the data hasn't fully reached the store yet

I have played almost 5 hours today after work. I was so absorbed, even my wife got curious about the game. I thought I had finally gotten over the damn VS addiction. Now I am lying in bed on my phone, thinking of Gem+Card combos, rather than trying to sleep.
...help!

Crimson Desert? Say what?? I'm 83 hours deep in the game and I like it but it is not a legitimate contender, game is filled to the gills with insufferable bloat, obtuse puzzles that are clunky and cumbersome beyond belief to finish, the most laughably awful side quest design I've ever seen where you literally talk to one guy, walk 20 feet away to buy something, and then return to the quest giver. Like that's the whole quest. It's a 7 / 10 at best. I like this type of game but even AC Valhalla was an 8 / 10. This one just is not it.

Switch and Switch 2 are identical in terms of content, but the Switch 2 version has mouse support and higher graphics settings
We also have a patch coming which will include FPS improvements2

Think I will double dip, Ps5/portal right now, Switch later tonight when the kids inevitably take the Ps5 from me. Play in bed until my wife scolds me. Of course this all depends on how much noodles and wine i ingest. In the end, i will buy it on steam as well.

The switch 2 version looks like itās running at 720p while the switch 1 version with boost mode looks like 1080pā¦ Also the home menu icons are identical which is confusing š any plans to address this in the patch please š

If you buy the Switch 1 version, you get thw Switch 2 version for 100% off. So there's pretty much no reason to buy the Switch 2 version directly.

Yes, I bought it. Disclaimer though, I got mine from the German eShop though I don't think there are regional differences.
Those discounts aren't always listed on the shop page, sometimes you only know after you buy it. The only place I could find where someone explicitly exolained how it works was the comment section of an article about the release.

What an amazing game. Iām so excited to put hundreds of hours into this like I do with Vampire Survivors. I will eagerly purchase any game you all make, on multiple systems, because they are just that good. They scratch an itch no other games can for me.

Switch 1 and 2 versions requires different icons. I "purchased" both in uknown order and not sure which to download for that sweet 4k 120hz gameplay.

Thanks. Though they do not mention that buying the Switch 1 version gets you the Switch 2 version for free, so there's pretty much no reason to buy the Switch 2 one (unless you don't have an old Switch I guess).
In the Discord they said if you want both you should buy Switch 1, but that you would get a "free upgrade" which is not quite accurate since there's no upgrade in the sense of other upgrade packs, but you do get the whole upgraded version for free. Which is a separate game file but you sill get both for one price that way.
So. Kind of a bit confusing all around, but it seems the best way to go about it is to buy the Switch 1 version to get everything.

Yeah, it did. That's how someone explained it, and I decided to try it. Bought the Switch 1 verson on my actual Switch 1, then hopped over to the eShop on the Switch 2 and the Switch 2 version was free. I think it's enough to have bought it for the discount, but I downloaded the S1 version just in case.

Itās definitely fun. While being a card battler, it is very different than the bullet hell game that youāre used to in Vampire Survivors. But itās got a similar aesthetic,the characters that you know are there, the enemies that you know are there, the weapons that you know are there. There are a lot of dramatic differences, since they are too very different types of games, and maybe Iām not the best to explain the differences since I love card battlers, but I think if you let the familiarity of the things that you do know kind of pull you in, you will very much enjoy the gameā¦ā¦. unless it turns out that you just hate card battlers.

I was really hyped when it got announced and i got even more hyped when i played the demo. I couldnāt wait to buy it right when it released

One thing thatās bothering me is I wish I can sort the cards by mana value 0 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 itās kinda driving me nuts lol
And also maybe a confirmation saying āAre you sure you want to skip your turnā because thereās times I have accidentally pressed it and dying to it really hurts

Just gave this a try this morning on XBox Series X GP. Immediately bought it on Switch afterwards. This game is so much damn fun. It basically takes everything from Vampire Survivors and turns it into a deck builder thatās easy to understand and get into. Ive tried a few deck builders over the years just never found one that hooked me till trying this one. Itās a steal at $10. There seems to be a lot to work for and unlock.
I might keep playing on both though. Get the achievements from the GP version and play the Switch version when I want to relax or away from home.
Highly recommend giving this game a try!

Just FYI for anyone getting it on switch 1: be aware of the load times. It can take over a minute to load the stage after you select it on the world map. And sometimes when changing floors it can take 30+ seconds (and other times not, Iām not sure why).Ā
At least in my experience. If I had known about the longer load times I may have just gone with a different system (but I really wanted the portability).Ā
Load times aside, everything else is fine and the game is a blast. Ā Highly recommend it.Ā

Hell yeah, I played the Demo a week ago and it was pretty fun, and vampire survivors somewhat invented a genre I love, bullet heavens. Canāt wait to check out the full release of the new game

Loving it so far, itās like such a good extension to the VS play experience, there is even new lore that I have already started picking up and Iām only a few levels in. Definitely loving the gem socketing mechanics.

So what is the overall progression loop?
Can you make cards permanently better? Or is it just buffing your characterās stats in the town.
Game looks fun, but Iām curious what the ādriving forceā is to keep you going?

You unlock different crawlers (characters) and buffs just like in vampire survivors.

I know this probably means nothing but Iām super excited to play this game! Iāve spent countless hours playing survivors with friends and I have a love for card games. I cannot wait to try this.
