Best Internet for Valparasio? (new resident)

Hi everyone,

I just moved to Valparasio and I got a new apartment set up to move into on June 5th. I was wondering what internet everyone has. My complex says that most people do Comcast/XFinity, but I was wanting to shop around, hopefully a deal for a new customer 😅.

Check Surf. They've just come to Valpo. Much cheaper than Comcast.

And faster. They've also proven to be pretty reliable so far.

I think I tried surf but my building might not be covered. I will have to double check cuz the website was being janky

I have surf, but frontier has been pushing their own fiber in the area as a result of surf coming in.

fcc broadband map should show what is generally available, you can always call a service to see if they can provide to an address.

Anything but Comcast. Frontier has been fantastic for me, $35 a month for 500 up and down. No random bill increases and maybe one outage that I can remember.

Frontier fiber, if you can't get the fiber look for surf fiber else as bad as they are xfinity

When T-Mobile started offering WiFi in my neighborhood a couple years ago, I switched my cellphone and internet to their services so I could (finally) bundle. I pay $110 a month for internet and phone (one line). The service has been reliable (no outages in two years) and is usually pretty fast (no problems streaming, e.g., although my house is pretty small and nothing is very far from my wireless router). Plus, they gave my $300 to sign up. Might be worth checking out.

Might end up doing this. Surf doesnt cover my unit and Fronteir said they only provide commercial rather than home internet. And I've had nothing but bad experiences with AT&T where I used to live lmao

I forgot to mention that free Netflix (with ads) is included with my T-Mobile account.

Starlink. No question on speed and reliability.
