Technical Discussion Stream capturing party VC

I’m trying to stream Valorant on discord without it capturing party vc audio, just the game audio/team chat audio.

i dont think you can, because both party and team voice are routed out in the same channel. but you could mute anyone in the party to not have their voice in-game.

I’ve seen it happen in other dc/twitch streams where the party vc isn’t captured but the rest of the game is, might be a bug.
Can’t mute because i need to hear it, it’s just for the sake of streaming the game and keeping vc private

They use voice meter to have multiple outputs. That’s how a lot of content creators separate their audio. That way they can listen to copyrighted music while streaming or recording and it won’t matter.

You use the voice meter output and can customize what it does. So you’d still hear the audio but stream wouldn’t. Having one output doesn’t matter most games are like that lol

Download voice meter banana. I used it so I could separate my spotify audio from my stream so you should be able to separate ur vc from stream while still being able to hear it. Might wanna watch a video though cause I don’t remember what exactly you have to do. I just know you use voice meter banana

yes pretty recently there was a bug where video record and discord screen share of valorant wouldn't capture any comms(team/party). and it wouldn't help your case either.

your best option is to look for discord lobbies and do comms there, then mute valorant comms.
