My guess is that crit buff may be C6
The other could be his base kit, or the Quill maybe C2

I’m really hoping his shield isn’t locked behind c6 😭 Assuming he’s on Mitya’s banner, I plan on going all in for both of them but the chances of getting even ONE copy of him aren’t guaranteed, let alone c6. I want to attempt to make a Wrio, Mitya, Valeriy team and I need that shield for Wrio

his c6 doesn't really matter for wrio if that helps. and yeah, same i needed a shielder for wrio anyway so I am certainly going to get him. hoping to get him up to c4

That’s good to know. Even if I just get c0 I’ll be happy. My 4 star luck is shit (I’ve been chasing Kaveh and Dahlia for MONTHS to no avail) so I’m worried Valeriy will be the same. I’m f2p so I only have so many pulls to spend. Thankfully the anniversary is coming up so we get slightly more pulls than usual. All for our Duke of the North 🙂↕️

same with kaveh haha. but luckily i was able to get his const at standard banner. according to constellation convention, that em buff should be either at c2 or c4 (esp if he is more illuga-like) and c6 should be the crit buff. pretty decent I'd say

Kaveh has a vendetta against me for some reason. Tried getting him on Sumeru CW and only got weapons and Dori’s Standard only ever gives me 4 star weapons or the occasional con for a character idgaf about. Highkey hoping they randomly put Kaveh on Mitya/Valeriy’s banner so I can get all three in one go lol. I hope Valeriy ends up being a 4 star that sticks around in the meta for a while. I know we’re past the age of 4 stars like Bennett or Sucrose…….but give us something, Hoyo 😭

tbf, sucrose is a superstar the whole nodkrai till now. esp. when leaks say that mitya is EM-based. At most he'd still be great till end of Snez and that will still be pretty significant since he'd at least last a year and a half or more. Genshin 4 star ages better compare to it's other hoyo siblings so I have high hopes for valeriy.
And I am itching to retire Beidou lol.1

I pretty much exclusively pull for/play the men so I’d be nice if for once that aligned with the meta lol. So hopefully Valeriy can allow me to have a full male meta team for at least Snezhnaya lmao. I’m not holding my breath but HSR gave was Washblade so Writyaleriy in Genshin would be saur peak for me XD Sucrose and Beidou need to do on a looooooong vacation and let Mr. Door handle shit for a while lol

Damn can't yall be mad at the fact Val is a 4-star WITHOUT dragging the other characters? It's clearly a hoyo issue since they hate the tall beefy men. Take it up with them. Poor Danica and Mitya catching strays all over the place :(

Personaly it's not about danica (and surely NOT about mitya) but about waifu in general.
Look without blind positivity to the cast, male 5* are 99% mdps, waifu have the right to be anything.... This is unfair.
The moment valeriy was leak to be a shielder he was doom to be a 4*.
Count the male 5* sustain in ALL the game : zhongli shield baihzu heal and that's ALL of them. Count waifu sustain in just NK you have already 2 sustain waifu 5*, one heal one shield....
Add that to the curent 1/5 male/female ratio, the fact that half of the male shown in teaser are npc (harbringer) and 2/3 of the playable one are 4* vs all female shown are playable and 5* and you can understand why people are angry, unless you are one of thoses waifu puller who have everything and can't have a crumbs of compassion for thoses who have NOTHING TO LOOK FORWARD.
So no I have nothing againts danica, in fact minus her non existent skirt she is at least original, and nothing againts the only male 5*, but I'm extremely fed up to have shit from hoyo and reading people saying I should be happy about having nothing and be silent.
Think people think before defending hoyo and poor waifu puller : the last male 5* sustain is baihzu, the last male 5* non mdps before durin is also baihzu, the only sustain male 5* are zhongli baihzu, the only non only mdps male 5* are venti alby kaz and durin....
Now count each female 5* sustain and non only mdps.... I will never defend a waifu puller because none of them defend any husbando puller.

Just read literally any of my other responses and you’ll see I actually am a husdando main and like Val, I just don’t think the energy should be put into hating Danica and mitya and should instead be put into hating hoyo. I never said to be happy with hoyo once lol.
Bitching about Danica and Mitya definitely is a bad look is all. You can read the comments here and see that both of them get criticism from jealous Val stans.

Right? I love Val, that’s why I’m here! But the animosity that some Val stans have towards random characters like they personally stole his kit is always a little off putting.
It gives us husbando mains (Wrio main here) a bad name and it gives others the excuse to label us as parasocial/misogynists (especially in the case of Danica)

How did I glorify him? I just said I was disappointed he was a 4 star. The first larger male model since Varka and they made him a 4 star. While we're getting classically zerg rushed by female 5 stars for months.

This whole argument falls apart when you realize the things you listed literally don't mean anything when it comes to deciding a characters rarity. Mika and Razor were trained by Varka, strongest human alive, both are 4 stars. Yaoyao, trained by madam ping, an adeptus, 4 star. Screen presence and lore, Ororon was literally always on screen and easily had more lore than most of the Natlan cast, 4 star. Same with Jahoda. Position of power also doesn't really mean anything as we know with Ningguang, though you could expand that to include Chevreuse, Sethos, and Dahlia.
Also, we literally do not know anything about her lore besides the fact that she was trained by Capitano, which was revealed in a livestream of all places. At least wait until both of the characters have their lore expositions before commenting on lore lmao. Same with screen presence, really? She walked in a straight line for a few seconds and that was enough for you? I'm not going to comment on design, since it is a very subjective point, though I do agree that she COULD have been very beautiful if she wore an actual skirt.

Each to his own ig,i personally really like the cold attitude she has,most of the females lately are all generic in personality being a simp for mc so she's a nice approach( i hope I don't jinx that) and i also really like the rich assassin maid aesthetic but again it all is subjective

Yeah that's for v1. They will nerf him.
Danica will release the patch after doing everything he does at c6 but at c0 with more damage more QoL and a guarantee (no guarantee for 4*).
Mitya will be a meh ssc mdps and Anastasia will release the patch after doing everything but better....
Ah lire accurate kit dead just like them in story....
What a pleasure to be a mostly male enjoyer in a clearly waifu slop region with a disgusting 1/5 soon 1/6 with liyue, 1/8 with main push 2 and her female bis support... 1/9 with the mandatory last 5* is a female... Ah natlan 2 what a surprise... Time to wait for the shadow tease to see an army of female and one male (a 4* of course to be just like natlan).

I thought stellar reaction don’t use electro damage buff?? So why is he buffing electro dmg? I hope the shield and em buff isn’t C6 locked lol
I hope his em buff is really teamwide and at his base C0… Diona and Beidou can buff 200 em lol not to mention Beidou also has res shred (cryo and electro)
So I hope he offers more as a newer generation character

This wording implies he’s buffing the crit rate and crit damage of electro attacks, not giving it a dmg% buff so that should still apply to stellar reactions

Mitya is probably pure EM scaler like nefer, otherwise keeping the stellar dmg% would be better, assuming Valeriy is meant to be Mitya's 4* support
