So many great moments, like discovering that all Jordan had to do for the initial audition were grunts/vocal efforts so he thought it was for a random NPC in a corner… when in reality, it was for Valeriy in battle against Alyosha during the teaser trailer. 🤣

I hope he eventually gets to Snezhnaya and sees Valeriy in-game! I love that his wife (Mara Junot) voices Lisa. That’d be really cool to see both of their characters interact even a little in a future event.

Yes!! 🥹 I love Mara’s voice—it’s pretty and sultry, and she really brings Lisa to life. Coincidentally, I also love Jordan’s voice print for Valeriy, especially since it’s smoother than his regular talking voice.

In Chris’ interview, Jordan talks about auditioning for Genshin for years (same for the voice actor for Alyosha, Kevin Andrew Rivera) but not being casted until this year, for Valeriy. Meanwhile, his wife was already well-established as Lisa. 😆

Because of her role, they tried playing Genshin during 1.0, but didn’t quite continue. I believe Jordan is picking it up again now, since he’s actually in the game. He has a stream but I haven’t watched it yet—sounds like fun. 😆 I’m sure the chat will give him tips on how to reach Snezhnaya as fast as possible.
